I tried out these tubes on an old EF 50mm and it magnifies nicely. There is a bit of a learning curve with macro photography because of the very small field of focus but that's half the fun.

They fit without jamming and snap in with ease. Just a bit of slop when locked in. I had one issue where I didn't click together far enough, but now I double check and issue free. The lock/release is a bit small but functional. Overall, they work and are a good value. (EOS R and a bunch of RF lenses) - Update: Still working just fine. But, the caps don't stay on in storage. There are no clicks or stops to keep them attached.

Fits on my Canon EOS R5, R6 and R7. A little bit mechanical play in the fitting on the camera, but works fine.

It's a plastic barrel, but the mounting rings look to be well made and metallic. Both worked fine for sending focus information on an RF lens - both with and without an RF/EF adapter, and they worked alone or paired. Nothing to complain about. The 'glass' (air) is spotless and easy to clean! Price was quite reasonable compared to other options I found.

I wanted a fully functional extension tube ring set for my RF cameras, and this popped up on my "suggestions". First to note, there are only two rings. Other sets for my full frame EOS cameras had 3 rings. These rings, like other inexpensive brands in past purchases, are lower in price than the camera manufacturer and higher end brands. When I received them, they were excellent build quality and they work. No just juggling just right for the rings, and for the planets to align just right - they consistently work. I will be buying a second set soon.

Kontakten mellan objektiv och kamera sviktar lite med ringarna på. Det har hittills alltid gått att få kontakt om man rör lite på ringarna.

These Meike extension tubes are well made, with a nice snug fit on my R, no give in either of the tubes. I'm adapting a lot of vintage manual lenses to mirrorless, and it works very well with them to get closer to the subject. The AF works with my 35mm canon Macro lens as well, but it would be difficult to stop it from hunting as even the slightest movement will set it off if you're using it for extreme macro shots. Manual works better for that. These tubes are well made, the bayonets are metal but the body is plastic, which is perfectly ok for my case use with lighter lenses. They aren't heavy-duty and I wouldn't use them with a very heavy lens, i.e., 100-500 L. Probably a 70-200 f4 L (no IS) lens would be ok.I'm very happy with the purchase, for getting closer with my 100 & 50mm manual lenses they are perfect and an economical solution.

The rings work well if you get a good copy. The first time I ordered them they were quite lose. The second one worked ok, despite still being a bit lose. However, overall they work. Nevertheless, you may want to think about if you should not buy a macro lense in the first place. If you exclusively shoot macro, I would not go for Canon but OM-system. It is much easier to use due to the weight and their 60mm is outstanding even with the OM-5

I purchased the Macro Extension Tube for my son, who is working on his High School Digital Art portfolio. He wanted to experiment with close-up photography and this product seemed like a cheap and effective way to do so. I am happy to report that it has exceeded our expectations! The Macro Extension Tube was very easy to attach to our Canon EOS R camera and it works perfectly. The images my son has taken with it are stunning and have added a new level of detail and creativity to his portfolio. I highly recommend the Macro Extension Tube for anyone looking to try out macro photography, especially those working with the Canon EOS R system.

I was looking for an accessory to my EOS R system to get some better macro shots. The extension tubes worked perfectly. The macro kit is well built and easy to use. I was so happy to see the Auto Focus worked great with the rings. It makes focusing so much easier. One of the features on the EOS R is the focus guide when you have AF turned off on the lens. It's a great feature to use for macro photography along with the focus peaking. Because the rings have the contacts built-in, the focus system on the EOS R works without fail.I tried the rings with my 24-70 MK ii and my 100 mm macro lens that are both EF with the EF to RF adapter and it was like using a native lens. I also used an RF 50mm and it was great too.If you are looking to make any lens a macro ability lens, then these tubes are perfect. They make the minimum focus distance less and add some mm to your focal range. So adding an 11mm ring to my 100mm macro makes it 111mm and also allows me to focus closer.I would highly suggest giving these rings a chance for getting some beautiful macro photography. They are affordable and built very well. I love to buy accessories to try with my camera to have some fun with and these were a ton of fun to use. It's so encouraging to see more companies build products to use with the new RF lens mount. I can't wait to see new things come out for the RF system soon.
