Bought this to grind elk meat. Haven't used it yet. However, it looks good. Wish it had a compartment to store the parts.

Got this unit because of the power to price point ratio. The unit itself seems fairly lightweight, but I have no complaints as far as power... We had a similar one before that served us very well, but it broke when we lent it out. Seems like as long as you use it reasonably and don't force too much meat too hard it's a very good unit.

I read the reviews of others that said that the motor on this grinder gets warm to hot depending on how much use but to me that's normal because it's a motor and they work by magnetic friction I also looked at the videos of a lot of other ones and they all stated that they get hot I was also concerned about the sound being quite loud and again the other videos I looked at of other manufacturers grinders costing more than twice the amount of this one sounded just as loud and some of them were not even as well made as this one. This grinder also looks very elegant and looks good on my counter since it's for personal use I wouldn't see using it more than 10 minutes each time anyway so I won't be running into any overheating problems of which I don't think it would do anyway and I love the fact that if I write this review that they'll extend the warranty for a whole year whereas most of the manufacturers and sellers only warranty their grinders for 90 days. This grinder simply works very well and it's been very well thought out.

Had over 20 pounds of beef fat to grind for tallow. Had it working in 23 minutes and it chugged through the fat within 10 minutes. Few moving parts and easy to set up. Easy to disassemble & clean. Will now grind my own chuck so I KNOW what is in my hamburger. Powerful, simple & ergonomic.

I had many pounds of stew meet and wanted to make a large batch of chili. Needed a low-cost grinder for venison. The reviews were good for this one. Cost was very low, and the unit looked well made in the pictures. It arrived and I was impressed by the overall quality. But would it work on venison. We put about 8 pounds through it in about 15 minutes. It worked great and the ground meat came out perfect. We then added about 20% of ground pork to the mix and put it through again. It was perfect ground meat for the chili. I would highly recommend this unit for the hunter or as an addition to anyone kitchen. Cleaning was easy and the unit went back in the box for my next cooking session. I love this thing.

funcionable pero si se usa mas de 10 o 15 minutos se calienta y pues no se que pase si la fuerzo mas, pero para uso minimo creo que va a estar bien
