This Needle Roller Thrust Bearings provide a high degree of stiffness within a minimum axial space. It has a smaller cross-section than a standard thrust bearing for use in restricted spaces.
These bearings to accommodate heavy axial loads and peak loads due to small diameter deviation of the rollers within one assembly.
Thrust Bearings can be combined with washers in applications where adjacent components cannot serve as raceways.
Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others.

It makes mowers with a steering wheel (as opposed to a zero turn) steer easier. Remove spindle, clean, washer greased bearing and other washer then slide spindle back up into axle. Usually a āeā clip or snap ring holds the spindle onto the axle.

This bearing kit works wonderfully. I installed these on 2 lawn tractors (Simplicity and Craftsman). They went in easily and fit with no modifications. They significantly decrease the effort needed to steer and will likely extend to life of the steering parts in general.

Absolutely not "power steering", but my Cub Cadet Is much easier to steer since I added these bearings. I wish I knew about them a couple of years ago.

Seem to be decent quality bearings and the thrust washers are the correct size for them. If you are planning to install these on your mower to get "free power steering" dont waste your time. If your spindle bushings are not worn and properly greased, its as good as its gonna get.
