Second time's the charm! I bought one of these "used, like new." It arrived broken, with the left-hand side top compartment broken off, complete with hole in the bottom. I took a chance and ordered a second one, new this time, and it's great. The box is beautifully made and well finished. The compartments are a great size. I use it as a travel sewing box. I can fit all of my necessary sewing supplies, plus the small project that I'm working on. Highly recommended.

Love this box, it is well made and has lots of useful space. A very good size, it is functional and well designed. I am using it for my watercolours and I have manages to fit all the useful stuff in. Very happy with my purchase.

So unlike a lot of the folks who bought this, I am using it for transporting perfuming tools, and it works disturbingly well. It's a little less sturdy than I would like, but for what it is, it should hold up fairly well, and it's VERY attractive, and feels fairly stable.

This artist storage box is a real beauty. Very well made, lots of storage, operates nicely. I would have liked it better if the two top side compartments opened more, but truly the reason I returned it is it was too heavy for me.

Great item. But it was shipped in the lightweight cardboard box it left the manufacturer in. Not a shipping box. No packaging materials inside to cushion it. Point is the hardware hooks holding the trays in as the box is used were bent and crushed. Have to be replaced.as I said nice box so why not ship in a way that it will be in the same shape as when manufactured. Lazy Amazon.

When I received the package, the box was opened and there was no real protection to cover in case of any damage, but overall the product is really good, really sturdy and smooth wood! Very spacious as well.
