This item is definitely something i would recommend. It can act as a first or second layer to your main blanket or an emergency one that you could/should keep in your car for yourself or someone who is in need of a blanket

Use these in the fire service, wrecks, SAR etc. They work great for whom ever is involved. The price is great and you are not out of a lot of money when they leave the scene. Good deal, fast ship. Thanks

Excellent value! I originally bought these to use as “disposable” pet bedding. These are Actually washable and held up for two months now still going strong. They make great pet beds, great back seat covers and also couch throws. Highly recommend.

Learned about these blankets from a list of recommended CERT supplies. I read many of the other reviews which were very helpful in managing expectations for this product. There are so many uses for these blankets, including car kit, emergency response kits, and pet travel kits. I have told everyone on our CERT about this useful product.

I'm a cert volunteer, and was looking for some blankets for my bag. They can't be too bulky, or too expensive because they get ruined or sometime you just don't get them back. These are perfect. Would I want them on my bed as a matter of course...probably not. Do I have a couple of them in each car and in my CERT bag...yes. These are perfect for what I am using them for. Probably excellent for moving or packing too. Reccomending them to my fellow volunteers.

We bought these for when puppies were delivered by our dog. Since we had to wash blankets so often, and the blankets get pretty gross (even after washing them wmevery other day), i wanted something that would be thrown out at the end. I had to use 2 at a time due to size of the dogs box we built for her and pups.

I'm giving only four stars even though it deserves five. Here's why. They're not really blankets. Tsk tsk. You know those heavy duty "blankets" that line the trunk of car? Yup. That's what these are. Some clever marketing fellow must have thought they'd make great blankets, and to be fair, they do. However, they're made of some sort of polyester material and eventually the cold penetrates after a few hours. Luckily, being an early adopter of technology/gear, I purchased ten (10) of these. So I used two at a hotel (the heating broke down for a couple of hours at a multi-star hotel chain). Well the suite didn't get past 60deg until the next morning. Yes, I packed two of these in my suitcase (just to test). Disposable? I wouldn't throw these out, they're great! (as Tony the Tiger would say). They're sturdy as well. I wrapped one around some gear for a friend of mine and it took its fair share of knocks, bumps and possible tears (but it didn't tear yet). RECOMMEND: if you want a cheap blanket for the car, a camping cabin, buy a few (I did).
