I definitely recommend sizing up if you want to comfortably close the front laces without a gap down your sternum. I am 5'2" 135 lbs and bought the small. It actually fits the way I wanted (extremely snug), but I am an A cup with pretty narrow shoulders, and even then it's kind of tough to get on and off. I took the black laces off, moved the back embroidered lace to the front, and plan to tie small bows or something to the back hoops.

Beautiful brocade fabric. The stays it came with were the black cord for the front and then matching brocade for the back.The front cord is long enough for bunny ear self cinching and it cinches beautifully!I bought a large because I like the look with the front further apart, I recommend sizing up if you want more of a closed look. The back is made so that you can customize the fit in front, so make sure to have a friend to tie you in! I was also able to do this myself, but was challenging alone! It was well made and is a shiny black satin on the inside. It is reversible and long as you remove the tags. Also there are no adjusting stays up the back of the reverse side.Definitely going to buy in more colors and watch which go on sale! When I bought this one is was 28 bucks! A total steal for Ren Faire fun!

I wore this to the Renaissance fair in Pennsylvania. It gave me 0 problemsall day and It’s so cute!!! I got a large, but I think I also could’ve fit into a medium because I still have room in it when I send it all the way tight. there is boning on either side of the lacing in the front and in the back, but none on the sides, which personally, I like better anyway. It has a better chance of fitting you that way, and it’s way easier to get in and out of. Great quality and I love the colors and it’s reversible!!!!

This vest actually fit pretty well, there was boning in the front and back to help it hold its shape. The color was as pictured, and it was indeed fully reversible. I ordered the chocolate color, and the inside was a greyish brown. Both sides of the back had laces, so you could lace it tighter no matter which side was out. I returned it because it was more piratey than I was looking for, and I found another vest that worked better. The front lace was also a cheaper-looking plastic shoelace material, and there were two small holes in the back, almost like a tag had been ripped out. The holes were very small though, and I don't think they would have shown if I had worn it.

I got this for my daughter and she loves it, it is not super sturdy though as it tore a bit on the seam the first time she wore it. I would say it's best used for photos and not for someone who will be moving around a lot.

Simply beautiful. Exactly as pictured, front and back lacing allows for customizing a flattering fit, and it's a nice sturdy brocade fabric. Doesn't feel delicate or like it will tear easily at all. Light boning helps structure the fit.The singular downside (which is a simple enough fix) is that the lacing on the front is similar to a hoodie drawstring or a thick shoestring... a bit rough and quite thick to work with. You'd have to cut it to replace it, but it can be done easily enough.

I’m so relieved this was such a great buy. So beautiful. Fits perfectly. Boning is flimsy and only around the laces but it’s so pretty I don’t even care. It is reversible. Sort of, the tag is sewn in to that side so it sticks out. The straps seem a bit big as well but I am going to add some laces. I am 5’5” and 186 lbs DD36 bra size and I ordered an XL
