I paired this helmet with a kid's Roman Gladiator costume and some foam Kratos cosplay blades for a backup Halloween costume for my son since his primary costume was being delayed in shipping. He liked the costume so much that he ended up wearing it many times over the season. Would highly recommend adding this to your costume collection.

This medieval Greek Spartan Gladiator its about anybody The plastic around your face gives a little, bit so you don’t have to worry about it squishing you while you’re trying to turn your head. I was thinking this was sort of a Trojan-looking helmet, but I was informed it’s more of a Spartan helmet, so I made a mistake. Over all it’s a decent costume piece, but it is plastic.

It is plastic an pretty light weight so it's not uncomfortable to wear for a normal period of time.

This review is for the Servllcell Medieval Roman Knight Helmet,Plastic Greek Spartan Gladiator HelmetWe have a Roman / toga themed party coming up. This helmet comes well packed. It arrives in 2 pieces - the helmet itself and the fringe holder. They are simple to put together. The helmet itself has no liner, so your head will slide around unless it's a big one. The strip that holds the feathers on is nothing more than one of those pieces of foam that florists use when making arrangements. I had one feather fall out - but was easy enough to stick back in. The face mask opens and closes similar to a motorcycle helmet. All in all - worth the price.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes.Would I recommend this item to a friend? Yes.

I should warn you straight off: wear this into battle with another polis and your head will regret it, very briefly. This particular helmet was not tested against bronze or iron swords before being issued to the troops and we lost an entire phalanx. Now, if you are looking for something costume-oriented, this may be perfect. It's easy to assemble, fits most heads, and is not so heavy that your neck will hurt. The plume is nice, though I would love to be able to rotate it 90 degrees for rank display, but that's okay.It is realistic to movie depictions of Greek and Roman-style helmets. Why "medieval" is in the title, I'll never know.Short: for combat, bad. For costume, good.

I ordered this Servllcell Medieval Roman Knight Helmet,Plastic Greek Spartan Gladiator Helmet Medieval Costume for my teenage son; my husband was quite taken with it when it arrived. We may have to get another, there was discussion of a Spartan battle in the yard. I’m not sure if the weapons are Nerf, water balloons, or perhaps an old school pie fight. My husband collects actual swords, both period and reproduction, and we all fence, but I fear that might alarm the neighbors. This Spartan helmet is a whole lot of fun. It’s made from lightweight plastic, and for an inexpensive costume piece, it really captures the spirit well. This Spartan helmet arrived in two pieces, the feathered top piece slots into small holes atop the helmet. The red feathers needed a quick fluff after traveling, then they looked great. This is made of lightweight plastic and is a kind of bronze color, there is a sort of distressed effect using bronze, black, and other colors. At its current price ($17.99), this helmet was fairly inexpensive, and a much better quality than I expected. My son and husband said the lines of the helmet are fairly period correct; it definitely has that age-of-antiquity feeling. My husband asked if they had one for a centurion (the feather plume would run across the top of the heads instead of front to back, like this Spartan helmet.) I told him I didn’t think so, he was slightly disappointed, but was still quite taken with this version. I think it’s possible we may be getting him one too fairly soon.Great for costume/cosplay use; ideal for school projects and pageants. This is a really cool little helmet, a great addition to our costume collection. My family loves costumes; I was a professional actor for years until a broken neck from a chaotic tech; my husband still works on Broadway, and our teenager is training for a performing career at LaGuardia, NYC’s “fame” school. Our tiny house is crammed with doublets and togas, corsets and petticoats, medieval, Renaissance, knights, kings, queens, princesses, vintage from every era from the Victorian to recent, reproduction from many eras, plus the T-Rex, platypus, inflatable sharks… I think there’s even an inflatable Grimace costume somewhere in the mix. This helmet is a great addition to our costume collection. It looks cool, too; right now, it’s hanging on a coat tree in our front hall that’s jammed with costume hats, and it’s definitely the star of the show.It measures about 10 1/2” long and 8 1/2”wide. From the base to the top of the feathers is about 13”. Both my son and husband have fairly large heads, and it fit them both just fine.Great for the lovers of antiquity you may know and love.

Got this for Halloween and I am pretty excited to wear as part of my costume. The quality is pretty good and it fits perfectly. For the price I think this is a great option if you wanna dress as gladiator, 5/5 stars!

Ordered this for my kid's Hannibal Barca costume for his school's "living wax museum". The metallic paint is every bit as streaky in person as in the product listing, so I can't really complain. The top, feathery bit attaches easily. And the helmet itself is sturdy enough plastic that I'm not worried that it will get dented and damaged by horseplay before he actually needs it for school. Would be nice if the visor could raise up a bit higher without the top piece on, but no complaints.
