Works great. Really long but fits over hand guard so I just leave it on during hot travel. Price is unbeatable.

This suppressor cover is awesome. I bought another cheap Amazon one and it melted to my suppressor, this one however has stood up to everything I've thrown at it. This cover holds up great, only smokes under high temp, I'd say around 600 Fahrenheit and above. It's a great looking cover and I've recommended it to multiple other hobbyists.

I really like this to store my can it's nice and thick but it is pretty deep. It's great quality and I've been a buying Mechanix stuff for years with no issues. I would recommend this if you are looking for some where to put your can after a day at the range. It's handled heat really well too.

This is an incredible value at the Amazon price. You could pay $200 or more for a suppressor cover.I’ve only had it to the range once.Fit perfectly on a Yankee Hill Turbo K.I was making adjustments to an adjustable gas block so I would fire 3 shots, adjust, 3 more, repeat. The suppressor got very hot, but after reading reviews here I knew to cut off the nylon tag inside. The cover worked great. It got very warm but protected my skin and my range bag from damage. The cover did not melt or burn after 60 rounds.

In the age of cheap Chinese junk, this ended up being exactly what I was looking for and surprisingly well built for the price. Perfect fit for my Dead Air Mask HD, the cord synch at the end is perfect to keep it snug and stop it from slipping forward and risking a strike. Excellent heat dispersion and it even seemed to absorb and dissipate the heat after spirited shooting. Very high quality that is typical for Mechanix. If you have a suppressor and shoot regularly, this is an essential investment.

I’ve taken this to the range several times since purchase and can say that it is very effective and easy to use. I would like for there to be a more textured grip on the outside to aid twisting off the suppressor from a mount, but the action is still doable as is.I purchased this mitt several months ago looking for a solution to pulling off a hot qd suppressor. As we know, suppressors get very hot very quickly (about 7 degrees per shot) and if it is a qd suppressor needing to be swapped between hosts, handling it while it is hot can be very challenging. The obvious answer was to use an oven mitt but I spotted this and decided to give it a try. It can quickly with Amazon and packaging came with instructions. You put this mitt on your hand like you would any other oven mitt. The mitts construction seems rugged and seems like it is able to withstand a good amount of heat.Taking it to the range was easy as it fits in a regular pocket in a range bag or backpack. The mitt fits on your hand and allows you to take off a hot suppressor without burning your hands. It has not melted or left any marks on my suppressor after several uses.My recommendation for improvement would be for if there was a grippy material on the outside to help grip the suppressor as you twist it off. As is, the material is sort of slick and it can be difficult to grip but giving it the beans works well enough.Overall, I have recommended this product to friends and I will continue to do so.

This lessens the temperature of your can even after a semi-aggressive firing schedule. I was able to swap the can onto a different tool via QD no problem with a firm grip and some basic gloves. Still wouldn't recommend touching the cover directly after, and definitely make sure it is very tight on there as it almost came off near the end.
