I had my brother install this lock set to the side kitchen door. The current lock was just one of those flat ones that only required a key and didn't have a knob or a handle. The door has become a second option because it was dormant and hadn't been used in over 15 years after the doorway was locked and forgotten. I now have a great door lock with a handle that will allow me to access and secure the home more effectively. My brother is pretty handy so it only took him less than an hour and didn't have any problems with the install.

Over the years and had to install many locks including the traditional lock and key, Bluetooth and a digital key, And I have tried manual combination lock as this one is. Overall for simplicity and comfort this is definitely the way to go.. not only is it easy to program and easy functioning, but the installation was quite simple. The directions are straightforward, and being that I did not need to drill, the process was done in about 10 minutes. I use this lock on an exterior garage exit door. This particular door seldom used, but we wanted a combination lock there so that if any family member was ever locked out, there was an easy way to get. So far so good. One thing of note and caution I would say. Though I’ve had no problems yet, and I don’t expect to, the manufacturer does clearly state at this particular is an old style and suitable for INDOOR doors. I can’t help but wonder the fact that they emphasize this in the first sentence of the description that it really isn’t as rated for outdoor doors as I hope. Time will tell and I will report back.

I replaced my old electronic lock with this baby and I am happy. The old one was impossible to program and to make it worse, if you pressed any button it would unlock. Now I have a safe, sturdy lock for my back door. It is easy to set the code so I am happy.

WOW....got this new door lock for one of my replacement front doors. Didn't want to put in the old hardware back on the new door. I personally didn't install it, but watching the installer, it went in flawlessly and rather quickly. It's super attractive and functions perfectly. I just love the fact that it operates mechanically without having to remember to replace batteries. This unit came with 3 keys - which is awesome...one for each key ring we have and a spare for access if we need to contact someone to access our home while we're away. It's a heavy unit and I like that it doesn't leave print marks. The rubber seal for both sides ensures a secure fit and prevents air leaks around the unit. Lovely addition. Recommend for sure.

For one thing this Keyless Entry Door Lock with Handle can be installed by drilling three holes using the template as guidance. That means that instead of a 2-2 1/2" round hole in the door, there are three small pass through holes for the handle axle and the two attachment screws. The handle itself is much more convenient than a round door knob. Emergency exit is also enhanced by just having to hit the handle, and you're out. Setting the combination is simple, only a small flathead screwdriver is needed. No battery worries and talking locks either. It's nice to have a break from black box electronics.

Very poorly packaged. Shipping box okay, had to use that for storage rather than the box it was originally in. Pretty beat up. The product was in good condition though. No issues there. Product itself seem pretty durable and made with good quality materials. Recommend.
