Ordered these copper rods for a little project I dreamed up. Mounted these two copper rods into a block of wood so the the rods stand in a vertical position about an inch apart. In the base, the rods are attached to a power source, one rod positive and the other negative.Between the two rods I am attaching LED’s separated out all the way up the rods. The LED’s are attached using copper tape.Fun little project that makes an awesome looking, in the raw LED lamp. I realize now that the 0.47 inch thick copper rods are a bit of an overkill and I found easily have gotten by with ones half this thickness. But thats the fun of experimenting and learning!

Packaged fairly well, though obviously suffered some hard impacts along the way. Both ends show hard impact peening and there are minor dings and scratches on the sides. For my use, making small parts on the lathe, not a problem.
