This little thermometer works wonderfully. We have use it so far on the grill and it is a great replacement at a great price. It has an auto turnoff when you close it and reads immediately. It even comes with a screwdriver for the battery back. Very nice product.

I had put off using the new thermometer until Thanksgiving Day. It was simple to get ready to use and easily and accurately measured the food's internal temperature. Unexpectedly, it also showed room temperature when I stepped across to the sink to give the tip a gentle wash. I like this item!

The thermometer is easy to use, feels quality made. It reads temperature almost instantly. It's convenient to use. The display flips automatically depending how it's held. The unit is an excellent value.

We love these style of digital thermometers, we can't grill a steak without one. The one we had used forever wasn't waterproof and it became an issue because we had to be very careful how we cleaned it. So, we happened to find this one here on Amazon and gave it a try.By and large this is vastly improved. It is waterproof, it also has a magnetic backer and that helps it not slip off the prep table next to the grill and land on the ground. I've never seen one of these with a rotating display, like your cellphone has, but it sure is fun when it spins around and I'm handling it. It also seems very sensitive. I find the reading varies when it's just sensing the air around it but if I stick it into the food I'm cooking it is much more decisive and quickly reports the food's temp. The on-off switch will take me a little time to get used to it. Overall this is a good tool to have in the kitchen.
