Luckily, I've never had to give CPR under actual emergency conditions. However, I've taken first aid/CPR classes and been CPR certified for years. Long enough, in fact, that I was first trained back when there were no treatments for pathogens like HIV. If someone has a really bad day, I don't want to hesitate, but I don't want to put myself at unnecessary risk, either.One of the best pieces of advice I got when going through CPR training was to buy a mask like this one and keep it somewhere safe but out of the way. If you have to give aid in an emergency, this mask and a pair of nitrile gloves (I keep both in a first aid kit in my car) will give you reasonable protection. No, they aren't foolproof, but definitely better than nothing.If you know how to give CPR, get one of these. Buy them for family members if they know how to give CPR. Stuff an extra pair of nitrile gloves in the carry pouch if possible. For about $9, you get a lot of peace of mind in an emergency.

Highly recommended by my CPR trainer. Small enough for a glove box or backpack/large purse. Can save a life, glad to have ones pre-placed in areas I frequent. My firefighter spouse has one too.

my professor sent me this link to buy for my CPR class, definitely does the job!! I’m not sure what else to say lol i don’t think i’ll use it again.

It came faster then I thought it would given todays mailing situation. It had everything that was advertised and although i have not used it i see everything that is there and I have used in the past so I have every confidence in this product. I was just so happy to see it arrive.

This mask is the same type we used in my BLS training class. I keep this particular mask in my vehicle as a portable solution to supplant my keychain sized barrier. It's a great piece of kit, especially as a gift, as it has good quality gloves and materials and the plastic case stands up to alot of wear and tear. It's been rattling around in my trunk and not once has the case failed, even with cargo on top of it and tossing and turning. I would highly recommend this product.

Ok so I have waited quite some time to give this product a review. The good part is that I have not had to use this mask yet. An on the other side of that coin, its hard to give a full review with out actually every using it. Guess I will have to get a second one just to test it on a CPR dummy. As you can see in the photos I have attached, this is in my small first aid kit. (link below this review for the Condor EMT pouch) This is a must have in any basic first aid kit or emergency preparedness kit. I highly suggest taking some classes on CPR and getting your self certified, its worth it and not that difficult to learn. This mask just protects you from anything harmful that your victim may be a carrier of. Side note: Always wear gloves and eye protection. I carry clear safety glasses at all times out of habit.

This is a crucial piece of equipment in my line of work, so in shopping for a pocket mask, I found this one, and was quite pleased. It is all self contained, with gloves, wipes, and the most important one-way valve. I especially like the hard case it comes in. My item arrived on time, intact, and the price was very reasonable.
