Does what it's supposed to. It seems decent for the price but I'm weary about trusting the 1/4 inch mount on a tripod with heavier lenses attached.

I didn’t want to spend so much on a grip but when I go out to shoot I’d like to know if my battery dies I don’t have to worry so I decided to give this a try. It fits very nicely to my Sony a7riii and everything works nicely. It feels great in my hand and looks good on my camera. I did play with it a little bit at home to test it all out and honestly I was very happy with it fairly quickly. It came on time and nicely packaged. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it.

It feels a little cheaper. You can tell the grip is slightly different than a standard Sony grip. But otherwise it works great. Definitely not waterproof or water resistant so don't think you can go take this around the waterfalls I do kind of wish I had a secondary way of connecting to the camera other than just the screw mount on the bottom of the camera. Also, the feet to put a strap are in weird locations.

This is a must-have for any photographer. It makes it so much easier to shoot with the camera and allows me to be more creative with my shots. It's also versatile and I can use it for both portrait and landscape shooting. I love that it is easy to use and has all of the features I need, including multi battery use.

Pros:+ Great build quality and feel.+ Comfortable patterned rubber covering the ergonomic verticle grip.+ Robust tactile buttons and dials.+ Camera's battery door can be attached to the unit's battery slot for safe storage and convenience.+ The functions on the grip, when shooting vertical, have a similar layout and feel to the ones on the camera.+ Lock selector switch, around the shutter button, disables all functions to avoid accidental presses while not in use.+ Supports 2 NP-FZ100 batteries, can be used with just one battery in either slot.+ Charges both batteries via USB C or micro USB when connected to the camera.+ Battey level indicators, percentages and corresponding slot number clearly visible on both the monitor & viewfinder.+ Quarter-inch thread on the bottom of the unit for mounting options.Cons:- None thus far!I received the Mcoplus extension grip about a month ago and it has not come off my camera ever since. This is my 1st ever experience using a grip on a camera (a7iii) and could not be happier with it. I've used this vertical grip on several shoots over the past couple of months and love it. I had never used a vertical grip before but wanted to try something that was inexpensive and I'm glad I did. The grip fits perfectly on my A7iii camera body, the custom functions work flawlessly and the outer skin matches that of the Sony body itself.There are only two down sides, however they are very minor in my opinion. First, the grip adds a bit of size and weight to a small and light mirrorless body. For me, this is fine for my portrait sessions and weddings, but I won't use the grip when taking the camera on trips. Second, while using the battery grip in portrait orientation I find it difficult to reach the joystick and control wheel with my thumb even though I have large hands with long fingers. Again, not a deal breaker but something worth noting.In my view, the product quality looks and feels top notch. I am very happy with the product and the item was shipped within the time frame I was quoted with the item new in the box. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to save some money as an alternative to the Sony branded grip.

I have been using this battery grip for a while now, and have been really impressed by the way this unit feels in the hand. This unit allows you to use two sony batteries at the same time. Something else that I really like about this grip is that it also has a joystick built into it which allows you to change the point of focus, while in vertical photo mode.Although the material of the battery grip is not the same as the rubber on the sony a7iii, it is still very good and feels nice in the hand.My only concern with this unit is that the battery open close door knob is made of metal, so far I haven’t had any issues with it, but would have loved to see a more robust option.Also the battery grip allows you to store your cameras battery door in the battery grip itself, so that when you are using the battery grip you don’t accidentally lose the battery door.

I just received this today(day 1). I returned my Meike Vertical Grip before. That wasn't working for some strange reason. I don't do time lapse, so I don't need the external remote. It fits perfectly on my A7III. Minor gap between the body and grip, but you can barely see it. The material is plastic but it matches the same look as the camera. It displays both batteries on the screen. The grip can turn off and the camera will be on still(not the other way around). No five star because I don't trust the door hinge on the grip, but for 70 bucks, I can't complain.

At the price this is good value. It seems well-made and fits perfectly. The internal battery pack retaining clips look a potential weak point, but if care is taken when inserting and removing batteries I expect they will be fine. At a fraction of the cost of a Canon grip I am pleased with the quality.
