Povidone-Iodine Impregnated Swabsticks
Apply these sterile swabsticks to minor cuts, burns and scrapes to sanitize wounds. Easily prep skin for minor procedures with the ready-to-use swabs that contain topical germicide and antiseptic. The sticks are 4 inches long, so you can grip the ends firmly. Each swab comes in a single-use wrapping to maintain sterility. The heads of the swabs are impregnated with 10% povidone-iodine USP weight/volume, which is equivalent to 1% titrable iodine.

Single-Use Povidone-Iodine Impregnated Swabsticks
Impregnated with Strong Germicide
Each McKesson swabstick comes impregnated with 10% povidone-iodine, which is equivalent to 1% titrable iodine. They come in sterile 3's and sterile 1's. Use the prepared swabs to cleanse areas of the skin prior to minor procedures such as injections or small surgeries. Apply the topical antiseptic directly onto minor cuts, burns and scrapes to clean these and other smaller wounds. The swabsticks are safe for treating a wound up to three times daily, with or without bandages as needed.
Easy to Apply
Every swabstick comes individually wrapped in single-use packaging that helps preserve cleanliness. These antiseptic and germicidal swabs need no preparation before applying. The sticks have a 4-inch length to allow firm grip and control at the ends. Use the swabs for external sanitizing only, and put on sterile bandages afterward for wounds that need protection. Let swabbed areas dry completely before adding bandages. These swabs do not contain any natural rubber latex, which guards against allergic reactions.
Sterile 3's and Sterile 1's Options
McKesson sterile 3's swab sticks come in individually wrapped packs of three sticks each. The sterile 1's option comes in packages of one swab for 50 total swabs per box. These sizes allow for many wound cleanings and procedure preparations per box.

I had open heart surgery. The doctor told me to use these daily after bath until healed. Sent me home with just a few from the hospital. I ordered these because I knew the brand. They were perfect! Some reviews said dry, but when you open look down in the pouch. Always extra liquid settled in bottom. Every pack I had was saturated well.

I bought these for the convenience when going on a trip. They were anything but that. First off, there are three in one package. We only have two nostrils so no clue why they put three in a package. Secondly, they are huge! Thirdly, they are so messy. The iodine leeks everywhere. My elderly mother got the mess all over her sheets and pajamas. Not the most convenient product.

These are definitely 3 to a package povidone swabs, arrived on time and are as advertised. I would have rated them 5 stars, except that they are so saturated that the packages have to be very carefully opened, as they are FULL of povidone. If you buy these (and it's not easy to find 3 to a package swabs), be sure to open them very carefully, and preferably over something you don't mind being stained by the povidone.

These are great for my son who has to be straight cath’d. They don’t dry out and having all three in one pack is much better than having to unwrap individually or the flimsy wipe that comes in a lot of cath kits!
