I used this kit to replace an old switch that was unreliable and clunky. The new one has a nice rocker switch that was mounted in a more convenient spot on the handle bars. Easy to wire up and works well.

Switch is cheap off the shelf and not waterproof at all, and also backwards. Bottom base of the contactor is not metal as described, but plastic. OEM is metal. The top appears to be a hard high temp resin same as oem.

I just had to crimp some 1/4" ring terminals into some 10ga wire , connected the wiring to the solenoid, and it was working perfectly. You save money using electrical wire from other cords, even a pigtail from an appliance had three 1/4" rings already attached to 8 or 10ga wire so I used that, and some other automotive wires I had in the garage. It works great.

First review after install. Install was pretty easy minus having to reverse the switch wires as they were backwards. (green, yellow and black wire) Someone needs to come up with something better for the switch mounting hardware. it seems a bit bulky, i would have preferred a more streamlined look and feel to it plus the clamps for the handlebars didnt come with spacers and were too big for my handlebars on my rancher 420. luckily i had some spacers from some lightbar hardware leftover. This kit also didnt come with any leads for the battery to solenoid or cables from winch to solenoid.
