These timer switches and motion detectors are great. Have one in every bathroom so far nothing negative about them at all.

Careful older houses don't have the wiring to use these.. but looks like a good product and I was able to return it easily

I love the multiple timer option. It is so nice to turn on the fan and not have to go back later to turn it off. They have worked perfectly and held up very well so far.

The turn twist pointer timers wore out and weren't very reliable. These have several push button selectors from 5 minutes up to one hour. Work great. Reliable.

If you’ve ever forgotten to go back and turn off the fan after a shower, then the Maxxima Countdown Timer is the solution you need. Very easy to install - although you do need to have access to the white (neutral) wire, and looks and feels well made.Very convenient that once you’ve selected a run time, each time you use it, you can just hit the on/off button and the same timer will run again.One note: both the selected time and the on/off button have a small blue light that always remains on. So if your switch is near the bedroom, you may see a blue glow in the bathroom. Not a biggie for us, but something to be aware of. Would be nice if you could reduce the brightness.

The product was good but my first one receiver didn't work. The buttons lighter up after hooked up but the fan wasn't running. Received a second one and it worked perfect.

This is perfect for our bathroom exhaust fan. It was easy to install (consult electrician if you are not familiar). It looks great and has just the right number of options for timers.

Installed 8 of these in 1 amp bathroom fans. One had markings on the buttons upside down, the other sideways. Should have been the first clue as to quality. Switches worked fine at first then over 12 months starting failing one by one. By the end of 1 year every switch had failed. They just go dead, no notice or warning. When two went dead they were making a buzzing sound then POP! Have used Leviton in the past, went back to them they last for decades.

The box of 2 timers shipped inside a bag and was badly smashed. The bags were all were ripped open, one of the two switches was returned in a sandwich bag, the wires had been cut shorter and stripped, then were wrapped around the AC wires in the wall (curled wires instead of straight) and the buttons had a couple of minor scuffs. One of the wire labels had been torn off as well.While I like the the look and operation of the unit, I can’t help but wonder if this is an intermittently failing unit that someone felt strongly enough about returning that they took the time to remove it from their bathroom wall. I hope they washed their hands before pressing these buttons.I appreciate that the buttons themselves light up to clearly identify the timer setting, and really like the color of deep blue.I don’t trust it being a used return, especially with how crushed the boxes became in one of the times they’ve been shipped, so I will be returning these. I don’t want it to start acting up while unattended and risk a fire. Regardless, I’ve purchased this brand once before and will order replacements.UPDATE: I received replacement units and they were in great condition and work well. Love the ease of selecting or resetting the timer, and I like that pressing “on” sets the last used timer instead of turning them on with no timer to go off (so guests don’t just hit on, not realizing they’ll never turn off like other brands). I also love that you CAN override the timer so it manually stays on (by holding the power button) if you need the light/fan to stay on to paint or do other things. Great purchase.
