It is a good mandrel for larger hole-saws. Prevents binding with hole-saw and it is easily removed from the hole-saw after heavy drilling operation...

The metal is very hard and my “electrician “ screwdriver isn’t strong enough to set it all the way, so it always backs out. I will have to try some kind of glue, or backing out the set screw completely and drilling a depression into the bit on the flat surface.

Have not had a chance to use this tool yet but it seems to function very well on hole saws with the 2 locking rods that keep it in alignment. Seems very durable, easy to connect and at a great price. What more could you ask for.

It’s a hole saw arbor.Looks like it’s made out of metal.That’s a step in the right direction.I haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure there’s a hole that needs to be holesawn any minute now.
