This has worked out great on my back door. I was using a towel in the winter to block air from coming under the bottom of door and saw this and bought it. I was able to install in no time and it works great and looks great too!

I have had this for quite some time now. There is a gap under my door due to it being an unfinished project, and that lets in sound and cold. My family can be super loud and I get overwhelmed and overstimulated very easily. Ever since I installed it, the house seems mellow and quiet, even when everyone is in the kitchen. This fits perfectly in the slot under my door, and with cats, it's withstood the constant clawing and scratching! Very durable. The foam tube is thick and blocks anything from trying to some through, including unwanted cold. I use incense, and I used to have to plug the gap with a towel or blanked due to my mother's sinuses.I no longer have to do this! The seal is great. It might not keep ants out, but I've seen a considerable lack of larger bugs and spiders coming into my room. (Including wasps)Value for your money: Worth it.Quality: great!Would I recommend: definitely!

First of all, a few tips on getting the foam rods into their casing: use a hairdryer on low to soften the casing, then lightly spray the rods with WD40 or cooking spray. They will slip in like a charm, no struggling or twisting. Notice in the first pic that the gap under my front door is very uneven. Old house, what can I say. Next pic is the one negative, the paper backing on the adhesive was cracked in many places making it very hard to remove. Used the hair dryer again to soften the paper and the adhesive which speeded the removal process greatly. Then I used the dryer again, as suggested in the instructions, to improve the adhesion of the velcro to the door. The next pic, you can see no gap! And the last shows how it looks from a distance. It definitely stopped the draft. Can't comment on noise control,as that isn't an issue for me.

I installed it on the door between the garage and the house. There was a 1inch gap. On the garage side of the door, there is an elevated wood piece that is meant to keep the cold out/heat inside but it was not enough. I tried the 2-side piece that slides at the bottom of the door but it didn’t work because of the wood piece on the garage-side of the door. I returned it and ordered a one side only part. It comes with Velcro so that it can be removed in Summer. Very convenient, easy to install, you cut it to the correct length and it works as long as it’s installed correctly. I highly recommend it for those doors that can only have a one side draft cover. Made of foam in the inside (3 small, foam tubes). Removable for quick detachment in warmer months. It also keeps the critters outside…

I was underwhelmed when I first received it. It looked flimsy and a bit cheap, but once installed, it actually looked much better than expected. It has been working great for the past 6 months with no issues. I got this to cover the large gap between the door and the floor after replacing carpet with wood flooring. So happy with this simple fix without having to pay for a new door!

These block outside noise a little but i had to put one on each side of the door to even muffle the noise.

Es muy fácil de instalar y eso es un buen punto.Lo compré porque quería reducir el sonido de un baño que está en la sala y por su tamaño y por estar a desnivel se hace un poco de eco, al final no redujo el ruido, prácticamente no sirvió, sin embargo, funciona para evitar la salida o entrada de insectos, e incluso olores.Tampoco, recomiendo que quedé expuesto hacia un lugar/área donde se vea mucho, porque digamos que estéticamente no es muy bonito.

These are the absolute worst things I’ve ever purchased! Do NOT let all the good reviews fool you like they fooled me. I was so excited about all the great reviews that I bought 3 of them. They were fairly easy to install, definitely not a hard task. And they seemed to be really good quality and sturdy too. I cleaned the doors that this product went on, really well. Like there was not any dirt or anything on the doors to make the product not stick. I let the doors fully dry before installation as well. After I got all three installed, took me probably about 25 minutes to set them up, cut them to the appropriate length for the doors and get them installed. I followed the directions to a T. I was super excited about them once I had them installed and thought they were perfect. I tested the doors a few times, they still opened and closed well and there were no issues. Well, I left for vacation for three weeks and when I came back, the first time I opened the first door with one of these on there, it just fell off. There was nothing in the way or pulling on it, there was no reason for it to fall off. So, I tried to put it back on and it will stick for a minute but it will fall off after awhile if I’m not using the door, maybe like 30 minutes, but if I try to open or close the door it will fall right off.. great. I already threw the packaging away so I can’t return that one. Then, the next day, the same thing happened to the second door!!! Same exact thing. Again, now I’m out of my money for two of these items…. And then a couple of days later, the third one fell off and did the exact same thing. So now, I don’t have anything on the doors. Mind you, these doors aren’t being opened and closed all the time. Very minimal use. They are a waste of money and time. Don’t buy them. I basically just threw my money in the trash since they don’t work and can’t be used and I can’t return them. Please, learn from my mistake and get something else.
