These clamps had everything I needed and simply could not find in any common configuration of a deep throat C-clamp. Long reach, deep throat, very thick/durable, reasonable cost, comes in set of two. Only downside is that the slip adjustment is very loose/sloppy/awkward until you've got the clamp pads on both contact surfaces and start to tighten down the clamp, but that's just the way these "F" clamps work. They aren't as easy to work as, e.g., a typical adjustable bar clamp. That issue aside, couldn't be happier with this purchase/item.

Great for lighter duty tasks, was using to straighten some 3/16 steel and bent the slide with hand tightening only. Would be great for wood or light metal jigging not great for heavy fab work. Sending back and looking at some different options.
