Seem to be very sturdy, but would have liked them to be made in the states... nothing is any more. Will use them more in a month so that will be the test. Like them so far.

For the price, I dont think you can beat these. Not the same quality as my old Irwin set, but these are pretty good none the less.Pros:.Good solid clamping force.Jaws are machined together and flat to each other.Rivets are fully formed and seated.Operation is smooth with no perceived grinding or grabbing.Knobs have an Allen formed in them to help tightenCons:.Finish is very smooth and bordering on cheap feeling..Nut isn't Knurled, it just has slots cast into it that make it tough to grab.Handles have some texture cast into them to help grip, but they aren't nearly deep enough.Jaw teeth are cast instead of cut, Not too sure how they are going to hold up over time.Over all, im pretty happy with them and would order again. They are cheap, but not "Harbor Freight vice grip" cheap.
