Definitely nice and heavy duty. Only problem is the sleeve in the bushing end was WAY small and had to take bushing and sleeve from my old trac bar and use that. Has anyone else had this issue?2006 Wrangler LJ

I own an older Jeep Wrangler. It's my favorite toy, and a platform for many other toys. I have all sorts of upgrades: gadgets, like LED pods, strips, and whips; offroad performance, like 4" lift, adjustable control arms, bigger rear axle; audio, with multiple amps and a subwoofer. It's just loaded with toys. The previous owner did a cheap lift kit so I've slowly replaced pieces as they go bad with better quality ones. My track bar bushings were starting to fail, so when I saw this listing I decided to give it a try. This is a direct bolt-on replacement to the track bar I already had. Being adjustable I was able to size match it to the previous arm, so it didn't mess with any of the steering geometry. It feels solid and rugged and was heavy as heck.Overall I'm pretty happy with this track bar. It was a direct replacement for my previous one, it's adjustable, and the whole thing feels very sturdy. I'll try to remember to update this review once I have more miles with it.

The bar looks nice ,but noticed the bend was not the same as the bar I took off . Maybe meant for a different vehicle

Don’t waste money buying an original sway bar and a bracket to adjust your OEM bar.Go buy this instead. Looks great, high quality parts and so easy to install.Instructions: keep all tires level with good shocks installed. So normal ride height for whatever application (height arrangement) you may have. Bolt passenger side up. Then adjust out until it lines up with the mount hole on the driver side. It should slide in easily and far enough in that you can screw the nut on a few threads.Tighten it all down then grease the zert fittings and you’re done.

This blue boy is a bad baby! The tubing is no joke thick and feels like high quality forged steelThe only thing I could see being better is chromoly, but I doubt many of you looking in this price range will mind the quality of this bar. I can’t see any reason that this would fail anyone for any reason than stupidity and even then you could still be plenty dumb and still be cruising. Powder coat is primo too. I don’t see too many bright colors on these kinds of parts which is refreshing for someone to see some color on the underside as it running over their ford escort wagon or Toyota Tercel. Just kidding.

I like almost (!) everything about this bar. This was an upgrade for me, since I'd done a "budget lift" many years ago, and simply relocated the connection point for my original track bar to pull the front axle into "more or less correct alignment". Turns out I missed by about an inch, but I just lived with it.I saw this pop up and knew I had to have it. It fits perfectly fine, and due to the robust construction and design, I'm sure it'll last a long, long time. Better yet, my front axle is now perfectly centered under my vehicle, so that can only be a good thing! The reason I took off one star is because the design, being very different from the original track bar (see photo) makes it quirky to adjust the track bar length. With most adjustable track bars (that look a lot more like the original), you just install the ball joint end of the bar, then rotate the body of the track bar until the mounting hole at the bushine end lines up with the one in the chassis. On this bar though, the very pronounced bends make that impossible, even dropping other suspension components out of the way. The only way to adjust the bar is to install the ball joint end (not QUITE fully tight, but enough that it's 99% seated) then measure the difference between the bushing center and the mounting hole, THEN pull the bar out and make that adjustment, and re-mount it. Because the nut is an interference nut, I felt it necessary to put some blue loctite on the threads to hold it securely, because those nuts are really designed to be used one time. All that said, it's not a big deal, and maybe you can use the old track bar's nut to temporarily mount the new bar so it remains a "one use nut".The good news is, it mounts fine, and works well, and looks a lot better. I like the fact it's a "different color" without being some garish "look at me" component designed to draw attention to itself. All in all, a nice, solid part that would be a perfect addition to your off-road project.
