Solidly built. Great placement of elastic gear loops to maximize limited space.I found I was carrying the same stuff with me every day; stuff I either use daily, or carry for the day I'll be glad I carried it for an emergency. It used to free float in the smaller pocket of whatever pack I was using and switching packs required multiple fistful transfers of gear.I find i regularly change from pack to pack day to day switching from oversized backpack to lumbar packs and such, depending on what I am doing. It's really nice to just grab the Fatty and toss it into what ever pack i am bringing that day. Here is a list of what fits in the Fatty for my Every day carry:Right side gear loops1) EpiPen for allergies2) bottle of antihistamines3) bottle of pain relievers4) bottle of medicine5) inhaler6) power bank/hand warmer7) ratchet setRight side rear pocket has cash and credit cardLoose: bottle of Iodine water purifying tablets and bottle of neutralizing tabletsLeft side gear loops1) and outdoors oriented multi tool with the regular tools plus a ferro rod for striking a fire, safety whistle and hammer surface.2) 2 tooth picks/floss3) writing pen4) USB to USB C cord5) rechargeable flashlight6) 4 bandaidsIn the back left pocket is 2 energy bars and a waterproof writing tabletEnough for most of the situations I feel I need to be prepared for. In combination with a few EDC items in my pockets.Overall, the Fatty is well worth the money!!!

I wanted to wait a while before writing a review to have a good understanding and context before writing it. The pounch is great. It's not too small, and not to big. Constructed very well and features plenty of pockets and loops to organize all of your tools.I keep mine as my EDC pouch for work and holds everything from pliers to band-aids. The zipper is great and hsa not ripped or gotten caught on material.10/10 would recommend.

I've been actively using it for a year now. This is really a beast. You can stock so much in this thing, and it's rugged and sturdy. Lots of places to attach things, or put patches, which is always a plus if you like to customize your things.

Excellent quality materials and very well put together. The size is very deceiving. It looks smaller that is really is, and can hold quite a lot of items.Be it toiletries, survival kits, stationary, this will serve you well.Below is a picture of what I have inside mine:Mini Bic pen through tab at the topWhistle buckle attached to key-keeperCarabiner through cord loopLeft side:Stanley's 4-in-1 Pocket ScrewdriverTelescoping magnetSmith's Diamond Retractable SharpenerFerrocerium rod by The Friendly SwedeUtility blade box-cutter with snap-off bladePermanent markerFolding scissorsKa-Bar Snody Administrator knifeLeft pocket:WireNotepadMiddle strap:20 ft of paracord2x Safety pin (large)Common plastic bagRight side:Mini measuring tape attached to the zipper pullCarabinerMini brush (for cleaning the tools)Gorilla tape wrapped around a cardSmith's Pocket Pal sharpenerLeatherman RebarCoast HP1 flashlightZipper pocket contents:Mylar blanketStriker for ferro rodAdhesive tape wrapped around cardBand-Aid stripsAlcohol wipesMini Bic lighterCable-tiesZip-lock bag6 ft of Reflective orange paracordOuter mesh pocket:Sewing kit in mint tin (needles, thread, rubber bands, paperclips, razor blade, safety pins, twisty ties)There's still room for small items, like a sewing nipper, nail clipper, mini pry-bar, chapstick, USB stick, pills etc.You can also feed zip ties through the rim seams, as shown in a picture below. All these pocket organizers are great. Check them all out, compare sizes, and see which size suits your needs. Not all fit into pockets. The Fatty in particular is too bulky for a pocket, but is perfect for a large bag, vehicle etc.If you are carrying a lot of small items, these can help keep everything organized and readily available, rather than having to dig through your bag or glove box for something. If you are considering one for your bag, you could get the Beefy instead. It is much larger than the Fatty.Note: When it arrives, the paracord zipper pulls will be tied in a simple knot using both ends. This is rather weak. I have included a guide for another knot. It will not come loose on its own, only if you deliberately untie it. It also keeps the paracord in an open loop, to easily put a finger through and open or close it.Photos:ContentsZipper pull knot guideZip ties pushed through seams

I LOVE this Maxpedition Fatty - it just eats up anything I put in it and then asks for more!As with all Maxpedition gear, its high quality and functional, without looking too aggressively "tactical". Its layout is well thought out, with various size elasticated loops / straps, an open pocket and a zipped pocket, plenty of webbing on the back and a small but useful velcro pocket on the front. The material is super tough, high end with comfortably strong YKK zips.I have a couple of these now, one used for a survival / first aid EDC Kit (torch, knife, leatherman, first aid items, fire lighting gear etc), the other is just an every day organizer that lives in my work laptop bag (contains spare batteries, headphones, charging cable, notepad, pens, Business cards etc etc).Whether you keep it in your car, in your desk, in a bag or just as an emergency organizer - its a great bit of kit that I just wouldn't be without.
