These cassette tapes by Maxwell are reliable easy to use, very good sound quality. I recommend these if you are a vintage stereo person.

They are okay. One cassette case was cracked but still functional. Plenty of stickers provided inside so you can label your recordings on the tape and the case itself.

Maxells were a great tape back in the day and they're still great today. Put one into my Sony boombox to make a mixtape off some CDs and it's reliving the 90s.

I ordered these Maxell tapes for my dad to record at home on his Sony Tape Recorder. The recordings came out great, low noise ratio and you could hear each recording perfectly! Great price I might add.. I will be ordering again! Thank you!!

Every now and then I need a new blank cassette tape. I probably could just erase one that I've recorded something to, but don't need any more - but that would involve actually determining if I wanted to keep a recording or not. So it's just easier to grab a new tape. Recently doing that made me realize that I was down to my last one. So it was time to purchase some more. Believe it or not, the local big-box stores around here don't have them anymore (or if they do, then I and a couple clerks couldn't find them). Thankfully Amazon still has them. I ordered two packages to restock my stash. I'm guessing that will be enough to hold me for another five or six years. Kind of odd to think these might be the last cassette tapes I'll ever buy (given they might not be available in 2020).I like these Maxell UR-90 tapes. You can recorded 45 minutes per side. I've been using this brand & type of cassette tapes for years and so far have never been disappointed with one. I like that the case is completely clear so as to able to see and read the label on the cassette. I'm not recording anything that needs studio quality tape, so these 'every day' quality ones work for me.

Though they are the standard in cassette tapes and have a pretty high quality sound they are quite expensive! As tapes have become more obsolete the prices have remained high for these. Still, Maxell makes high quality tapes that are aesthetically plain. I use these to record music mixes and they have worked great for years!
