Works flawlessly in extensive testing over two weeks, never failed to immediately sound an alarm when moisture contacted the probes. Detection was fast and consistent. Very affordable price and the app integration is a nice bonus. I'm very happy with this product.

Didn’t care for the App at all. I had bad luck connecting it to my WiFi. I don’t like the app mainly because of all the extras. It’s a leak detector and the app has too much garbage on it for everything you can imagine. Just not what I was looking for. Sure others had good luck and they work great but I just need a basic app that alerts me if water is present. 3 stars only because of the app. Product itself seemed ok.

Der Wassermelder wurde mir von Amazon kostenfrei zum Testen zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich teile meine Meinung immer offen und ehrlich mit. Das Wichtigste für mich ist bei jedem Artikel das optimale Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das bedeutet, dass ich immer die Qualität des Artikels mit dem Preis abgleiche und daraus meine Bewertung ableite. Das Wassermelder Set besteht aus 2 Teilen ( Melder mit je zwei Sensoren Vorder- und Rückseite und Empfänger, der in eine Steckdose gehört) und wird zusammen mit einem kleinen Schraubenzieher und einer kleinen Bedienungsanleitung, allerdings nur in englisch (deutsch kann man problemlos downloaden), geliefert. Die Installation ist sehr einfach und klappte in wenigen Minuten. Zuerst muss die App "Smart Life", falls noch nicht vorhanden, geladen werden. Der Empfänger in einer Steckdose im Bereich eines WLAN wird, nachdem er in der App mit + zugefügt wird dort schnell erkannt. Danach ist das Set schon betriebsbereit.Ich habe ein Mehrfamilienhaus und wir wohnen im obersten Stockwerk. Mein Haus hat eine Hanglage und gerade im Winter nach der Schneeschmelze oder bei sehr starkem Dauerregen kommt es vor, dass in der untersten Wohnung, die halb unterhalb der Erde liegt, Wasser so stark vor einem Fenster (Zimmer meines Sohnes) fließt, dass der Abfluss überfordert ist und das Wasser sich dann andere Wege sucht, dh. durchs Fenster drückt. Dies ist in den letzten Jahren leider zweimal passiert und ich hatte mir deswegen einen stationären Wassermelder gekauft, dessen Alarm aber nur in der untersten Wohnung zu hören ist. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, weil ich das Set in meiner untersten Wohnung mit einem anderen WLAN (welches durch ein langes Kabel mit dem Hauptrouter im OG verbunden ist) angemeldet habe. Aber, alles funktioniert bestens über eine Distanz von mehreren Stockwerken. Das Set bietet sehr viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, die ich alle noch nicht probieren konnte. Für mich ist aber primär wichtig, dass ich im OG bei dem geringsten Wassereinbruch, es genügen wenige Tropfen, eine schnelle und zuverlässige Meldung (auch unterwegs) erhalte und ich so weitere große Schäden schnell vermeiden kann. Meine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

I am pretty impressed with this leak detector! I thought it was a bit gimmicky, but I tested it in my bathtub and it did in fact go off at the present of running water. Not to mention that the alarm would wake up the dead if it was a bit louder at 110DBs! I had to travel out of the country for a month and I live on the east coast in the heart of winter, so I was, understandably, worried about pipes freezing over in case my heat somehow didn't stay on. This absolved all my worries and then some.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

I recently installed the Smart Water Leak Detector Kit, and I’m really impressed with its performance and features. This works great to monitor the area near a condensate pump for my furnace. It has failed in the past and caused water damage.With the WiFi gateway connection, I can monitor water leaks remotely in real time. Setup:- Setup is breeze.- It works on Smart Life App by Tuya.- Supports Custom Naming.Installation:- Just peel off the tape from the Moisture Sensor and place it in the place where you want to monitor moisture or water leakage.- The smart gateway can be plugged to any 110V outlet in the house.Operation:- The moisture sensor has two metal prongs that sits about 5mm (didn't measured just providing approx value to get idea) from floor.- Once the moisture sensor detects moisture/Leak, it will beep a loud voice as well as the the gateway will flash blue light and say out a message "Attention please, Leak detected.".- The App will also send notification on your phone. I have tested this I was home so when my phone and gateway is connected to same Wi-Fi. I am not sure on offline messages (if you are away from your home.)Over all like the performance. I am using it near my sump pump to determine water overflow or sump pump Issues.
