Stake your claim and protect your territory with the Blokus XL game! Featuring a larger board and bigger pieces than the regular Blokus game, Blokus XL takes less than a minute to learn, but offers endless strategy and fun challenges for the whole family. Each player gets a set of 21 pieces in red, blue, green, or yellow then takes turns placing them on the board. There's just one rule: each piece you play must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners! The goal is to fit the most pieces on the board. The game ends when no more pieces can be placed down, and the player with the lowest number remaining wins! For players 7 years and older.

This is one of my favorite games. I bought it for my 5 year old grandson and he caught on how to play right away. We even did fun things on the board with all the shapes. He really enjoyed it the most of all the games i brought during my visit.

A really fun game that can be played casually, but best when you're moves are strategic and you're thinking several plays ahead. Every game play is different. Piece fit into board a bit iffy, so be careful not to bump the board.

We bought this game as we played it at our friends house at Christmas and we really grew fond of it!We love it and it is very good way for the kiddos to learn patience and use their logic to win the game.Every time we get better! Really recommend it to everyone! In our family we have 8 and 11 years old children as us parents are 46 and 48! I would recommend it from age 5 up!

Our 6 year-old granddaughter checked out this game from the library and just loved it. It is pretty simple to play but there is some strategy involved to place your tiles or block the other players' moves. We all enjoyed playing it so I ordered two; one for her birthday and one for us when we're stuck in the house on cold winter days. I ordered the XL option, thinking the pieces would be easier to handle and place on the board.

My little brother got this for Christmas last year and everything in my family, adults and kids alike, LOVES playing it! So I had to get another copy for my cousins haha. Very fun game that gets your brain going, good in terms of how long it takes to play too (not too long but not too short). Highly recommend if you like any time of strategy or puzzle game!

This is a fun little game. It's like Tetris, but not. I really like that the pieces almost snap into the board so that they don't slide around as you're playing. Definitely glad we got this version.

Like: Cheap Entertainment for the family Easy to learn hard to master Kids young and old can play without too much difficulty Nice big pieces are easy to hold for little hands.Dislikes: Non so far, the game keeps the family entertained, we are always trying new ways to win. And just when you think you have it down, Boom someone goes and puts a piece just where you where going to go on your next move, messing up your whole strategy.Would highly recommend it for family game night. Even good with just 2 people.

This is one of those games that adults like to play as much as the kids so you won't mind playing it over and over again. Great for pre-schoolers too as they can easily grasp the concept of placing the pieces corner to corner as per the game rules. When not playing a game, mine also like to just put the colorful pieces on the board. This is a game I think younger kids can grow into as there are many different levels of complexity to this board game - from playing with the pieces to the competitive strategist. Who knew such a simple concept for a board game can be so much fun for everyone.
