About this item

  • This product is a solvent-based, 3-part matte coating that is suitable for use on ceramics & metals.
  • Subli Glaze Matte Sublimation Coating facilitates image transfer by allowing sublimation inks to bond to the substrate; without Subli Glaze Matte Sublimation Coating the image will not transfer.
  • Used to provide a polymer layer which sublimation inks can bond to allow effective image transfer.
  • Shake can well for 1 minute. Ensure surface to be sprayed is clean, dry & free from grease
  • If applying to a polished, glossy surface, use Subli Glaze Adhesion Promoter to prime the surface first.
  • Apply smoothly & evenly. Hold can approx. 30cm from the surface using light passes at room temperature.
  • Several light passes are better than heavy coats but do not allow the spray to pool on surface.
  • Allow to air dry for 5 mins before curing in an oven at 160°C (320°F) for 5 mins.

This product did not perform as mentioned. After spraying the tumbler and baking it. The sublimation did not come on the tumbler at all correctly. More than the product the seller is not professional at all. I clicked for a return and amazon replied that the seller will get in touch in 2 business days. It's almost a week and I have not heard from the seller at all. I also tried the button that said write to the seller directly, that too didn't work. Sad.

I watched a YouTube tutorial on it before purchasing so I was optimistic that it would be just what I needed and it was I sublimated a design onto a wooden pallet and it came out really well Was my first attempt and the pallet was difficult to fit onto my heat press but it still worked well

I've used this in matte and regular, as well as regular with the translucent white over it. They are all great, except when you use the white. That stuff is so disappointing that I knocked it down a star. I used to do a lot of epoxy, but rarely do anymore, so I wanted to be able to use those cups to sub on. This fit the bill for sure. That said, my recommendation is to let it dry far longer than the 5 minutes they suggest before baking it on. I let mine sit several hours and get much better results in the end. This is also nice for the odd cups that don't come in sublimation. As far as the white, the end result is completely washed out. I ended up just tossing that stuff... It's like I just tossed $30 in the trash. I had to just go back and paint and epoxy those.

THis stuff works great. It is a little hard to get a perfectly smooth coat on the metal. It tends to bubble up or a minor spec of dust ruins the coating... Works well though and appears to be long lasting.

I love the sublimation glaze! I bought these coffee mugs for my husband and myself but they weren’t sublimation mugs. After watching some videos on YT I decided to give this aerosol sublimation glaze a try. I did not use the primer but followed the directions otherwise and still the results were amazing! I’m planning on buying the primer though because they probably would’ve turned out even better. The glaze if used as directed is straight forward and easy to use.I will be buying more it’s definitely worth the price.

The colors did not transfer well at all. Best to save your money and just buy sublimation blank products.I will say that the company reached out to me and their customer service is great. I will give them another try.
