Very well made and works well. The swivel latch on end of the pin has very positive engagement and ensures the pin will stay in place. Is easy and quick to remove when changing hitch size or removing the hitch entirely. This is a must on my truck with the GMC multi-function tailgate which cannot be fully deployed without significant tail gate damage if a trailer hitch is present. This make installing or removing the hitch a 30 second job.

I have arthritis and struggled with traditional pins with spring clips. Especially in the cold. This solves all my problems. Great design that keeps the pin securely in place.

I have another one and like the ease of use of it and the longevity that I've gotten out of it. Ran across this one and bought a second one. Be sure to spray some type of lubricant on the locking part.

I love these pins. No need for keys, or fiddling with clips to lock the pin in place. Had one of these for years until “somebody” borrowed my ball and gooseneck with the pin. The ball came back, but not the pin. “Somebody” needed it more than me I guess.So I bought two new ones and they will last me until they too are borrowed. Solid 5/8 stainless steel with a spring loaded flip lock at the end to lock it in place. It works. Never found a better pin anywhere.Do you need a lock? Well, I have never had a receiver stolen, not even in the many campgrounds that we have been to. And for this price per unit, I don’t really mind if some poor soul needs it more than I do.Good price, fast delivery, solid product. Thank you Amazon for delivering it ahead of schedule.

This "MASTER LOCK" hitch pin does not incorporate any sort of security lock. Looking at the photos on the Amazon phone app, the barrel at the end appears to be a key lock. It is not. It is just spring-loaded. While I do admire the design, it was not suitable for my needs. Apparently the MASTER LOCK brand no longer implies that a product has a key or combination lock built in. However, if you are looking for a non-locking hitch pin that is easy to install and remove, this one appears well-designed and well-made.

I love this kind of hitch pin, have it for years. I just wanted another one so that each hitch has its own pin. Was pretty difficult to get, no store offers it anymore. Then I looked on Amazon , found it here, and ordered it. The new one has not been used yet, but it is totally the same as the one I use for years. Sooooo easy, so fast, no pinched fingers anymore, no items to loose, I absolutely love it. Totally recommend it!
