This is a nice little lock.It barely fits on my public swimming lockers, i had to put it in at an angle to get in, but it works.Its a nice little lock, not to little, looks sturdy.

Slim profile works for lockers and storage boxes. Starts to rust after exposure to the elements (10+ years later). Bargain priced and sturdy. The combination is easy to set but simply turning it 90 degrees and pressing it down using the indicated relief cut in the frame. Very reliable and good price.

This is the 2nd of these padlocks that I've purchased. The 1st lasted 8 years outside with an occasional spray of silicone for locks. Which I would do with any exterior padlock. As it's meant to be used indoors I'm amazed at it's durability & hoping this new one will be as good.It's easy to see the numbers & they turn smoothly with a little click. As it's on my gate I usually only have one hand free to open & close it, & that's really easy with this padlock. I can even use it in the dark.The instructions to set the combination are very simple. With this type of setting you must be aware not to inadvertently reset it by fully rotating the shank & moving the dial when you use the padlock. (More likely if you are doing it one handed.) However as the dial does not move so easily you are unlikely to do this by mistake & I've never had a problem.Hopefully this one is as good as the 1st.

I love how easy and convenient this lock is to use, but I wouldn't trust it with anything valuable. Setting your own combination is easy and the lock is convenient to use. It's also a good looking lock and seems sturdy. A couple minor complaints are that the numbers line up on the side of the lock where the colored part of the lock is, but my gym's lockers don't allow the lock to rotate (similar to the gym lockers in the product pictures) so sometimes it's hard to see the numbers to unlock. The bigger issue for me is how easily it falls open when the correct combination is entered. You can almost feel the pins lining up so it seems like you can figure out the combination just by turning each dial slowly. Works for what I need it for though so I'm overall happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my 13 year old Grandson , who has struggled with PTSD. Combination locks ONLY , at his Academy. This lock gives him control of the numbers, sequencing, and function ! “Traditional”, rotating combination locks are fine for those who don’t panic at every mistake or deadline. PLUS: his home and school cultures promote WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER, in our growth mindset cultivations. He no longer hesitates or recalibrated before going to his locker. This lock is sturdy and reliable, not heavy , tactile sensitive materials( feels “ good” in his hands), and slides in a whisper when open/closed . Our FAVORITE feature: he can quickly and easily reset passcode anytime he wants or needs, - and the instructions a simple to understand. Thanks, ya’ll. A LOT of parents and coaches are already ordering this lock. 🙂

From left to rightMaster Lock 1535DMaster Lock 653DORIA Combination LockMaster Lock 140TI’ve been looking for a solution to lock my gun and ammo case. The primary purpose is to prevent children from accessing the magazine and bullets. I have a bio metric safe for the gun itself. Factors that influenced my decision includes the perceived security, the quality of construction, the ease of lock/unlock. I’m sure all of these locks can be hacked open somehow. I’m not looking to prevent someone with a cutter. That said, I leaned towards hardened steel shackle.The first lock I purchased was the Master Lock 140T. A solid choice if you can confidently secure the physical keys. What I did initially was to put the keys in my biometric safe. The problem with that is if someone can open the safe, they can immediately unlock the cases as well. Hiding the key elsewhere to me is not an option because children are great at finding things that adults thinks are hidden. But if you can keep the key secure, the lock is small but feel very solid.The second lock I purchased was the ORIA combination lock. The thing I like immediately about it was the positive engagement of the number input dials. Each click feels precise. It feels the best of all the combination locks in this list. I don’t know what material it uses, but it doesn’t feel as solid as the locks fro Master Lock. Part of this maybe how the lock is painted.The I purchased Master Lock 1535D and 653D. The 653D is what I end up using. The input dial is a close 2nd to the ORIA, but the shackle is clearly hardened steel and the case seems like full meta as well.The 1535D feels just as solid as the 653D even though it’s painted glossy black. But the problem is in the combination input dials. First they are not precise. You can set them half way between two numbers. The deal breaker though is the placement of the line where u need to lineup the key number. As you can see from my photo, with the lock on my gun case, it’s very hard to bring it up to my eye sight. This lock is perfect for a gym locker, but for a gun case like mine, it’s not going to work.I hope this helps someone when determining which lock to use.

Muy funcional, lo uso para el casillero en el gym y la verdad es muy útil, da mucha seguridad con la combinación de 4 números y se ve difícil de romper por su tamaño, no es tan pequeño la verdad es de un tamaño regular y algo pesado, esto porque lo cargo en la maleta y se siente el peso, no es exagerado pero tampoco es ligero. Pero en general muy buena opción. Tal vez para el uso que le doy preferiría uno mas pequeño.

Just received this lock. I ordered two of them, and I got the colours of green and orange. They seem to be very sturdy locks and they are very easy to set and reset the combinations. All you do is turn the shackle 90 degrees counter clockwise and there is a groove. Push down to lock the shackle in that grove and then push down again and turn it 90 degrees more. Set your combo and then lock the lock, and try it. Your new combo should work. I will order more in the future if I ever need more locks, because these seem very good quality. Would recommend to others.
