I go through about 2 of these a year to lock up my gates on my business. Love that you can easily set your own combination. Love that it's next to impossible for bad guys to get a bolt cutter to the shackle. These are outdoors in the weather in Oregon. They seem to seize up after about a year of every day use. Kind of expensive for that. But still worth the extra security.

Strong, secure and heavy duty. I loved it. It was just as I expected, wanted and needed for fence gate. Ease of opening, look, size and lock functionality.

This is a heavy duty lock, which is excellent for sheds and other locations that are outdoor and need a high security option. Easy to change the code when needed and is very solid. Great build and high security! Would recommend for any outdoor option.

Absolutely nightmare. Second day of usage and it was absolutely jammed and unusable. Locked my bike and now need to go rent tools to break it off in a public space. I cannot stress enough how mortified I am, skip this

Very strong, well built lock. Great price. Operates perfectly. Small issue, the black cover falls off - not a big deal.

I’ve worked as a commercial property manager for well over now and it’s funny how certain items you’d never really think of become our obsessions to find a solution for. In many of the shopping center properties I manage, the trash & recycle bin lids and enclosures being kept locked and secured are one of those things. These are the only locks we’ve been able to use that cannot be cut through (easily enough for one to keep trying) or pried off. Nothing is truly 100% cut/pry proof but, making it hard as possible is a good deterrent. The boron carbide shackle is very cut resistant and shroud makes it just a pry resistant. Cost is up there for a combo lock but, well worth it in my experience.

Have been using this as my gym lock (overkill, I know - but as I got my laptop stolen, I'm done screwing around) - it fits with very little clearance left in the lock hole (about the width of a human hair), so its a perfect fit. You cannot move it around or yank on it very easily. It is incredibly heavy and rather intimidating looking. The brass armor shroud around it is incredibly sturdy and does a good job of making life difficult for anyone with a bolt cutter. The boron alloy shackle is also much higher quality than the standard locks you find on the shelves, with a very true metallic feel. The combination are definitely on the stiffer side - they will not easily glide like tiny padlocks. In 3 months, I have not experienced the "sticking" issue, but the tumblers definitely prefer to be turned one way, which is not really a big deal for me.It is important to note that the lock only opens one way, and the dials will get easier to move with use, but they are STIFF. Personally, I like it as it reinforces the whole tough look of the lock. The rubber bumper, which I presume is to keep the lock from scratching whatever it is rubbing against, is flimsy and I lost it on the third use. Again, not a big deal.No padlock is going to be a foolproof solution in the world of sledgehammers, shotguns, and bolt cutters - but this intimidating looking lock definitely fits the bill to help persuade a would-be thief to perhaps move onto an easier target - (or at least convince them that bringing giant bolt cutters to a gym is too risky).

I needed several locks to secure a few containers and other items in a high crime area. I didn't want key locks because they can be picked and as I needed 10 locks, Id have keys to worry about. I bought these locks and while no one has tried to get into my stuff yet, they seem to be very secure and appear to be difficult to shim. I also like that we can change the codes as we set them to match and later we can change them as the contractors complete their job. They are also corrosion resistant which is very important if you are near the sea.The combinations are easy to change and they are easy to operate. Highly recommended if you want a secure lock, and well priced also.Update:1) As many others have said, the weather cover falls off easily. But its not really a big deal.2) After ONE MONTH only at a location about 1/2 mile from sea, the shanks are already surface corroding quite a bit. Not what I expect from a corrosion resistant lock! Im covering them now with oil and will maintain them this way. Ours are used in an outdoor area, but still they shank should have been made from a different material or somehow made to resist corrosion in a "corrosion resistant" lock.Still a good value and much better than other locks Ive tried though.
