Very durable, the lock functionality is really nice it works how it’s supposed to the other thing to be weary of if the temperature is below freezing, you can still open the lock it’s just really hard 😭

I purchased this item in hopes that it would not freeze and withstand cold weather. The item corroded and froze after two weeks of use. I am totally disappointed in this product considering it is a master lock. I only purchased it because it was a weather resistant product And it was a master lock. I would not recommend it to nobody.

We’ve all seen the videos and we all know master lock sucks against the pick but heck if you have that much dedication my shed has a nice rusty pile of rusty bicycles and old paint cans and it does keep the kids out so I call it a win for this lock

I use them on my tow bar for towing my Jeep, I read reviews that said they were not all that weather/water proof, so I wrap them in zip lock bags. So far so good.

The lock itself seems OK. It is covered with plastic and the key hole has a cover to keep rain out. The lock works smoothly enough and feels solid, although it is impossible to know how solid the shank is without trying to use a hack saw on it.I have not had it long enough to check to see if the rain rusts it or not, but will see how it stands up to moisture. While the bottom key hole is covered with a plastic cap there does not seem to be anything to prevent rain from getting into the lock from where the shank joins the lock. Time will tell.

After a couple of months the lock is slightly rusty, and there's a white build up around the keyhole despite it being sealed with the cover. Not very weatherproof really.
