There are several things I like about this lamp: It can use a variety of different types of fuel oil. It’s compact enough to store away until needed. It does not come with a container for the fuel, but any typical Mason or canning jar should work with this lamp. The wicks provided should last longer in standard cotton wicks. The flame can be adjusted by positioning the wick higher or lower in the tube. Depending on the position of the week and the oil type used this lamp can last for several days before refilling.A few things I don’t like about this lamp: You should use caution when burning this lamp there’s no globe to prevent things from touching the flame. It probably shouldn’t be used around children. There’s no adjustment mechanism, to adjust the flame you have to unscrew the lid and physically move the wick up or down. This can get fuel on your fingers or skin.

I really like these! Very easy to assemble and have been burning wonderfully for months. They are really cute if you put waterproof decals on them or paint them. Fun family project that is great for the patio area!

Love the idea. Just I have mason jars and the lids will not fit. I have to purchase the very small ones for it fit.
