Works with GE and their silly CHIPFilter was easy to install. Did get an initial error, but turned it to ice, then switched to water and the filter registered.

Like most people with a GE fridge forced to buy their expensive filters with chips required to work, I've looked long and hard for an affordable replacement and found it!This filter works like a charm, fits perfectly, and seems to last, unlike the authentic GE filters that didn't last 3 months the last few times I purchased them. There are no issues with leaks; the water flow has never been faster! I highly recommend it, and I'll buy only these filters in the future.

This works for the most part but the filter is slightly larger than the original that came with my refrigerator and does not allow the filter door to shut completely causing it to bow a little. It will eventually warp the filter door.

When I read in our GE manual that we should change the filter every six months I ordered filters online, but could not find GE brand in stock. I found these on Amazon, purchased them and just changed out the first one a few days ago. It slipped into place easily and seems to be doing a great job.

This brand filter works fine with GE brand refrigerators at a fraction of the GE cost.

Was easy to install and is working fine. Just used for first time, so cannot compare to the GE yet. Was cheaper to purchase so saving a few dollars during these times makes a winner!
