Its not going to create a booming system but i wasnt looking for that. I liked the idea of a color display with a small footprint to have some tunes on the outside of my camper. It was mounted inaide a compartment so it wouldnt be directly exposed to the elements. It worked great for two days then the screen died on the third day. It still plays music but is practically useless if you cant see what mode you are in or station. Really disappointed.

First off, this is not a touch screen (or it’s possible it is and my unit just doesn’t work). Second, post says it has an equalizer and it does not (edit, it does, the manual just doesn’t tell you. Just do a quick press on the volume knob and you get the eq settings). Lastly, it stays on after you turn off the key, even though it has a remote/acc wire and is properly wired in. Output is weak but on par with the price range. If all of those don’t bother you, it’s not a bad head unit for instrument mount. I can’t vouch for water proofing as I haven’t ridden in a rain storm yet.(edit: it has survived its first downpour, there was a little humidity under the screen but dried out to normal and still works fine, but if any humidity can enter I’m not hopeful about the longevity of the unit, as corrosion will happen eventually. I’d recommend if your application sees a lot of direct water spray, probably get something a bit more high end.

Used this on a golf cart. Fit was fantastice. screen is nice and clear. Easy to use! The sound is very impressive!

So far I am happy with my unit, I am using the line outs with a 6 channel amp to power six 6x9 polk marine speakers in my SxS. I wish it had a set of line outs for both front and back, since it doesn't I have no fade control, only balance. Some people say the device does not power off completely with the acc wire or that it has to have the time and date every time they start it up. Well unless they have a defective device, they most likely have wired something wrong. I have no issue with the unit losing time and date or staying on all the time. I do like it comes with a small remote. You can change button colors, and this device even has a video in for a camera.I am not using this unit to directly power speakers, basically just connect my Spotify with my phone to the unit and the system is very loud and clean without distortion.

I was really impressed with the how the player looked, you get a beautiful simple color screen that plays music, videos and images.After hooking everything up, I was amaze at how well it played music on my existing speakers from a player that had burned out. It paired really nice with my fish finder equipment. This is a bargain deal!Only time will tell how well it stands up to saltwater splash and exposure.
