Built better than others I have looked at, but my vehicle has magnetic influences all over the front. I've been unable to find a place (not influenced by the vehicle's magnetic fields) to mount it anywhere it is useful

The bubble is cloudy inside and the whole thing feels poorly made and cheap. Don't buy it.

This is so difficult to install because they cheaped out on the wiringThe give you like 3 inches of wire which is insufficient at best. Almost made install impossible...the cheap plastic mount will probably last a season in the son...wish I would have returned it...look elsewhere

The description said the compass is suitable for a boat or car. It is much too big for my car! I will be returning it.Also, there's a wire hanging down, I assume so you can hook up the light. However, there's no explanation of it and no obvious way to connect it. The product itself may be okay but... definitely not for us.
