The Mares MRS Plus Weight Pockets offer divers a convenient, secure, and easily accessible ballast system designed for compatibility with Mares BCDs. These pockets come in two size options, catering to different weight capacities and dive requirements:
- Small MRS Plus Weight Pockets: Maximum capacity of 4 kg- Large MRS Plus Weight Pockets: Maximum capacity of 6 kg
Both sizes feature Mares' Mechanical Release System (MRS), an innovative design that prioritizes simplicity and safety. The pockets are equipped with a single-click locking mechanism that provides an audible confirmation when the weights are securely locked into the BCD, helping divers feel confident that their weights won’t shift or fall out during their dive.
Each pocket has a large, ergonomic handle, which is easily accessible, even when wearing gloves. For additional convenience, the pockets are designed with a zippered closure and internal VELCRO compartments. This allows divers to arrange weights within each pocket to achieve better balance and control in the water. The VELCRO separators prevent weights from shifting, helping maintain a streamlined, comfortable position. These weight pockets, sold in pairs, are compatible with several Mares BCD models, enhancing their versatility for a range of dive setups.

Buena construccion, buen producto, pero el sistema de anclaje pesimo, compre esta reposicion por que perdi los originales que venian en mi BCD en un buceo recreativo, bueno estos corrieron la misma suerte, asi que la solucion cambie el BCD

Bought these because I lost 1 pouch on my last drive. I had the smaller size before but the description states fits all mrs+ mares bcds. This does fit my bcd, but is noticeably tighter than the smaller size. Good quality construction. My concern is the buckle mounting system. As my previous one fell out during a dive, I question the safety of the Mares MRS+ SYSTEM. I am glad that I lost the weight pouch on a shallow, 40' dive. Any deeper and I would not have been able to prevent ascending dangerously fast. It took a of my effort to control my ascent. Considering a different bcd fif safety.

These are OEM replacements for the Mare's MRS system weight pockets. The set I received (ordered in Dec. 2016) were the "rev 2" of these things. Rev 2 has larger gray toothed zippers and a plastic D ring on the insert. (rev 1 has small black toothed zippers, the picture is the rev 1 of these things). Make sure you research the "Mares weight pockets fall out" problems on scubaboard for an easy fix for that issue.

Purchased these replacement pouches as the original zipper broke. The zipper in these ones is much stronger than the original. Delivered before expected during the holidays!

Tasche war wie beschrieben.Hatte bedenken ob sie past aber alles war gut.ist weiter zu empfehlen. Eine anmerkung habe ich die Göße der Tasche ist nicht so gut zu erkennen.Es werden in der beschreibung immer beide genannt.ist etwas verwirrend.
