Let’s start with the good stuff first. The desk looks great, is quite substantial (doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap once together), and the price was decent compared to some other reception desks I looked at.Now the bad part…to start, the boxes these shipped in were terrible. For such heavy pieces they really need to be packaged tighter and in heavier duty material. Our boxes were torn open in places exposing inside parts/materials and a couple random (I’ll get to this later) trim pieces were broken and several pieces were scuffed up. Had I needed to return it, I would not have been able to use the boxes that came with it.There was also pencil marks all over. Forgot to get pics of that. Thankfully the scuffed up areas aren’t customer facing, but it’s really unfortunate to pay for a brand new desk and have parts that look like they were dragged through the streets.We received extra trim pieces that don’t match the color of our desk and aren’t in the manual anywhere. No idea what they’re for. Thankfully the desk is a pretty simple design because none of the pieces or hardware were numbered or labeled like the manual would have you believe. If you’re not good at putting together ikea type furniture, avoid. I simply guessed right a couple times when putting it together. Also, you will definitely need 2 people to put it together. It is a heavy desk.

Overall, it’s a very good quality desk. Not too hard to put together. It looks modern and eye catching. It’s your usual particle board connections. Has to be shipped freight because it’s a very large box.
