It took a long time to figure out why the breaker kept tripping....the electrician said it seemed like the capacitor was not shifting to second phase. We took the part into the electric supply and they tested it. They didn't sell the replacement capacitor that would fit so we took it to another place who tested it again. They didn't have an exact replacement either but they had a capacitor that they thought might work. It works like a charm but we shouldn't have had to replace a part to get a new motor to work. The part was inexpensive but the time investment to install the motor and try to get it to work was inconvenient.Update: The new capacitor didn't work...The electrician said trying to get the motor to run with the original defective capacitor must have damaged the motor. I never tried to contact the seller about the issue but if I had it to do over I would do that first. By the time we decided it was never going to work properly we were past the allowed return time.
