A great addition to my 24' boat, prevents one from having to put down deck plates, to mount a table pedestal, if you do not want to cut into new decking. It is easily moved about the deck, and stable. Obviously when freestanding, it is not designed for use as the boat is underway, without being pedestal mounted, but includes the pedestal mounting plate if you wish to bolt to the deck.
