If you just want to toss a variety of coins and have the unit sort them then this unit may not be a good choice. But, if you separate the coin denominations it’s incredibly easy to put them in the coin tubes. It’s simply a great value. I’ve used a battery operated unit for years that automatically sorted the coins and then inserted them into the tubes. It worked ok, but it was actually slower than this unit because it would only handle a small amount of coins at a time. I like this unit better because it’s 10 times cheaper and it’s just as quick.

I found this coin sorter not as useful as I would have liked. Found another coin sorter that was easier to use and sorted coins faster.
