Showed up with the box undamaged but a significant gash in the cork. Was still able to use for my application, but it was obviously damaged during packaging (gash penetrated both sheets) and they boxed it up and sent it anyway.

Adhesive was worthless - the whole board fell off in less than a month and the tape damaged the paint on the wall.

I put this 1" thick cork board up on the wall over my sewing machine. It's perfect for tacking up pattern instructions, supplies that come on hanging cards, and other miscellany. I use giant thumb tacks along the bottom and hang all my scissors on them. I really like the fact that it's so sturdy and thick; I can use any size tack on it. Wouldn't have a sewing room without one. Highly recommended.

Attached these to the back of a bookcase hidden door in my sons room to decorate with photos. Used a light coating of clear spray adhesive on door and cork boards. Stuck instantly and very secure. A bit expensive but they are thick and of good quality.
