I have been dry firing as practice for awhile but this system really has helped me improve my groupings and speed. It is not completly intuitive and requires some time to understand it all, but I can say it was a short learning curve and I have had very positive affects. My only issues is for the price, I am disappointed I have to purchase a baseplate to mount for holster draw. And that said, this is an expensive solution. It works but expensive.

Yes the Mantis fits on the Sig P-320 rail, but the P-320 will not fit in a holster with the Mantis attached. This piece replaces your magazine base in a minute or so...depending on how familiar you are with reassembling your magazine. The adapter allows you to practice your quick draw from your holster and contributes toward a more realistic training experience. It does what it is designed to do...it's a hunk of plastic.I do wish they were less costly and cane in 2 packs

Bought this to accommodate my pistol without having to get an additional holster that could accommodate a tactical light. Form and fitness of unit is perfect. Very pleased. 3D printing one would have been another option I didn’t realize until afterwards. No regrets for this purchase.

This worked good on my Glock .380. Attached to the magazine for easy use.

I prefer the Mantis mounted on my frame, but also love using the holster draw so this was the best option. I swapped out my base plate with this and the Mantis attaches as expected. For reference, I have also used the glue on rail with this being my preferred option. Even when using the gorilla glue in addition.

The adapter works perfectly. I’ve used it dry and live fire. There are 2 annoying aspects to mantis (at least with the p365 line)1- has to mount to the bottom of the mag (unless you get a rail adapter). This mean you need to be careful with mag dumps or you can break the mantis.2- if you don’t have snap caps in the mag you have to control the slide on the trigger reset or the slide will lock on the empty mag.3- if you do mount it in the rail, you need a holster that can accept a light in order to practice the draw drills.Overall I’m really happy with the X3

Edit 1/27/01: It turns out that I am an idiot. There is a setting in the phone app to increase the sensitivity when using a DryFireMag. With that setting now made PROPERLY, this works fine. Revising to 5 stars 1) because it works and 2) because their superior support group solved my issue promptly.Original Review:Seemed like a great idea for my Glock 19. The Mantis X3 does not fit the Glock front rail without an adapter and I wanted to avoid using an adapter as I have other Glock stuff that ties to that rail. So this seemed like a great idea. Glue it to the bottom of a DryFireMag and dry-fire away. Except that the Mantis X fails to register about half of the dry fire shots. So my recommendation is to avoid this thing and use an adapter and put up with the aggravation. I used the Recover Tactical OR19 also available here on Amazon. That works. I read some of the reviews that blamed it on the rubber tape. That might be it. Maybe not. If I wasn't so lazy, I would try epoxying this to a baseplate. But that takes work - probably more work that mounting and unmounting an adapter a hundred times.TLDR: Mantis X works on Glock using adapter. With this, not so much.
