Zeroing out was the easy part. Getting it to actually read anything, impossible.Was going to set draft on my boiler but got absolutely no reading. I tried different settings and such but nothing. To check it, I put it into a high velocity air stream and still nothing. I blew into the hose and it did read.Knowing that some people had issues with the soldering inside the unit, I opened mine up but everything is intact.Wish I had tried this tool before the return window closed.This unit seems to be hit or miss. Try looking for an alternative as there are some at the same price point.

Works as advertised, but the one frustration I have is that it doesn't remember what unit you are using and it turns itself off after 5 minutes to save battery, so if I'm measuring gas in in. W.C. I have to press the unit button 6 times every 5 minutes in order to get back to what I'm monitoring. Other than that and the dead battery it shipped with, it works fine.

Exactly as described, works straight out of the box and comes with an additional years warranty.Simple to operate and easy to read.I used this to check for LPG pressure drop through pipework from my LPG tank to central heating boiler.

I bought the "white" version manometer with the buttons on the side which failed on my second attempt to use it after only 6 months. That one was hard to read the setting display. This one has a great display, better control layout, seems very accurate, and I can easily read the settings on the display. Has a nice blue back light too. I just checked out the static pressures on my new A/C furnace setup and it shows a perfect 0.5. I'm very happy right now! Hopefully it lasts!

Solid little tool accurate and simple to use and zeroing is easy by holding the dif button for a couple seconds. large backlit screen for easy reading and lightweight for carrying in packed bag. Not heavy duty construction tho. and hoses are very small that come with it. plan on getting hoses and fittings for this tool in order to use it on gas valves and Inducers.

It worked as advertised. I used it to measure the input and output pressure on a new central heating system regulator/gas valve converted from natural gas to LP. The outlet pressure was slightly higher than the install manual spec range, so I was able to leave the meter connected to the outlet pressure as the furnace was running and incrementally adjust the pressure down to the middle of the spec range. The only issue I had was connecting the small tubes supplied with the meter to the larger ports supplied on the regulator.

I ordered a $40 dollar unit on eBay but it got lost somewhere in shipment so I started shopping again. I came across this one on Amazon and it was nearly half price (and I bet the "innards" are identical on these budget Chinese instruments). Anyway, this one measures in around a dozen different scales/units and also does differential measurements. All I ever needed it for was static pressure in my HVAC system so inches of water column was all I cared about. That particular reading accuracy is easily verified with a simple home built "U" shaped tube of water, and I found this digital manometer to read exactly the same as the water column. I see the unit is not currently available but I highly recommend it; especially considering the $23 price tag. It ships with two short pieces of surgical tubing and one 1'8" NPT pipe fitting (which fits all furnace gas valves}. Great buy.

This meter does do the job. Just don't expect too much from this. It is in a very plain plastic enclosure, no company name anywhere, no country of origin anywhere, etc... I assume made in China but could be Taiwan maybe? User's guide is in funny English. Readable but not correct spellings or grammar often. It does seem to work OK, however, and it is reasonably priced. I have no idea on the long term reliability. If I had to do it again I'd try to get something a little better quality by a name brand.

I used this to measure the draft and adjust the draft damper on my oil furnace. This increases the efficiency of the burner and saves me money. The instrument includes a zero feature and claims good accuracy. The instrument is easy to use and works as described. A Velcro bag to contain the instrument is included. Perfect.
