These fittings work well. The 1/4" NPT thread is smooth and screws in easily. If using compressed air, I recommend pipe dope on the threads instead of tape, because I have had every connection leak a bit with tape (not just these, I mean every NPT connection). However, the air line push fittings do not leak at all.
