Great Bag. I have a 502 Video Head on a MT055XPRO3 tripod and it fits great in this bag. There is an inside pouch in this bag that is not in the description. It is a nice feature and this is a well made quality bag. I am very happy with it. The zippers work very well. I saw some reviews complaining about the zippers and it must have been whiners who complain just to complain.Details: The length is perfect for my tripod and head. The diameter leaves room for other items, jacket, a monopod, other things. The padding is nice. I was looking at this one and the 80cm bag. I am glad I got this one because I like the handles. I am very happy with the quality.

The zipper was a bit sticky from the beginning. Eventually, not after too long and very little actual use the stitching came apart at the zipper. I looks as if they stitch across the plastic of the zipper and this wore out the stitching. This appears to be a flaw in manufacturing. I have a smaller version of this exact bag and I am having the same issue with sticking. This will be my last Manfrotto bag purchase. Do not recommend to anyone!

I recently purchased the amazing Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 Aluminium 3-Section Tripod for use with my canon 5D Mark 3 for rock solid performance in low light and long exposures. Its an expensive tripod and I went searching for a suitable matching Bag to ensure my tripod against damage and bumps due to rough storage or transport. The Manfrotto Mbag80pn and Mbag90pn came as strong contenders with the former being more popular with owners of the tripod with the XPRO three way head and the 90cms being more popular with tripods and video heads.I decided in the favor of the 90PN Considering that it is only 10 cms longer and also has the plus of carry handles along with the shoulder strap which the 80pn does not have. This Bag would also future proof me if I go in for bigger and wider heads for the tripod.Needless to say its a Manfrotto product and top notch. The zip is one piece and extremely comfortable to use, has an accessory pouch inside and while its a little big for the tripod I own it also allows me to store the monopod and the Mefoto road trip tripod at the same time.I recommend this to any expensive tripod owner anyday. However be warned, the size of the bag could be mistaken for a golf club Bag by many.

This tripod bag is amazing. A time ago, I purchased a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod and a Manfrotto 502 Video Head MVH502AH but never had a bag for it. The tripod was rolled up in a large black trash bag to avoid dust. This bag is solid and well made. The zippers are large and were easy to use after a few pulls. It zips along the length of the bag and then around the top cover in a circular fashion. I felt this was a nice touch if there is an attachment on the tripod that is not removed but still needs to go in to the bag, the design makes this easy. The circular top also allows the removal and drop in of the tripod without having to unzip the entire bag. The padding is firm and is very supportive and protects the internal equipment well. With the above mentioned tripod and head, the bag doesn't seem to add significant overall weight. There is a large internal pocket that can carry documents, small adapters and even small pieces of equipment. As far as storage, even with the tripod in the bag there is space for other equipment that can be stored around it. Don't misunderstand, there is not enough space for the tripod to be playing around unless you fill. The tripod fits perfectly.Great product and still impressed with Manfroto products. Check out my reviews of the tripod and video head.

I was hesitant to buy this bag because it's pricy even for a Manfrotto product. However, my fitted with a are too wide for most most bags, so I bit the bullet and bought the MBAG90PN. This bag is fairly wide (9" internal diameter) so the bulky 502 fluid head fits with room to spare if the the arm is positioned downward. In fact, I can easily squeeze in two small to medium light stands or a smaller tripod if needed.Although my most expensive bag, it earns its keep by being the nicest in appearance and construction. Manfrotto put care into the design and materials: flashy embossed logo on the padded lid, red accent along zipper seams, beefy luggage grade fabric (Cordura?), adjustable strap, supper heavy duty zipper with pulls and a thoughtful design allowing you the option of opening only the end (lid) or the full length of the bag. The padding is dense (closed cell?) and affords serious protection from bumps and scrapes. It has a large zippered inner pocket to organize small accessories like QR plates, spigot, etc. It's large enough to stow the panning handle of my 502 head.GOTCHAs: The heavy duty zipper is stiff, especially the circular area where it goes around the lid. Fortunately, I can easily extract the tripod by unzipping it lengthwise without touching the lid. Maybe the zipper will loosen up with use and help with a Q-tip soaked in silicon.Great new home for my Manfrotto 055 tripod and 502 head: good looking, roomy, thickly padded and easy to carry.

The Manfrotto bag is excellent. It is large enough to hold both the tripod and head. The only very minor inconvenience is the top zipper is a little difficult to zip up. I am being a little picky here.

The is a very well made tripod bag which fits the Manfrotto 055XPROB/327RC2 tripod/joystick head combo well. The padding is substantial but not too much and the build quality is excellent. The zippers and seams are very sturdy and I have not had any issues with them though they are a bit "stiff" at first until the bag gets some give with use.The shoulder strap is adjustable and comfortable. There is a small pouch type pocket inside for small accessories, but I wish there was also a small pocket on the outside for storage. Also, it is a very attractive bag but I do get concerned sometimes that the large Manfrotto logo that is embossed on the outside of the bag makes this more of a target for theft as opposed to a more discrete bag.I definately recommend this tripod bag as an investment in protecting your larger investment, the tripod and head.
