I wish I had this gown when I was in the hospital a couple of months ago for the birth of my last child. It’s nice to wear postpartum, but would’ve also been nice to have during labour and delivery. Great hospital bag item!

Make sure you pack this in your hospital bag! It is so comfy and has snaps in all the right places for everything you need for giving birth (in the back for a possible epidural, on the shoulders for skin to skin time or nursing) and it is long enough to be covering but short enough to not get in the way. I thought the snaps in the back might be uncomfortable but when I laid down I barely felt them. I love that it has pockets and that it feels so soft.

First of all, I was drawn to this particular gown because I liked the charcoal gray color. I also appreciated the functional snaps for various use, e.g. nursing, assisted dressing. The length is nice, long enough for coverage, short enough for a breeze and no tripping hazards. Over the head dressing works, so no need to unsnap and resnap a bunch of snaps. Snaps hold well, but aren't hard to either snap together or pull apart. Garment washes and dries well and quickly without obvious shrinkage. Material is soft and stretchy, but not heavy with the weight of spandex. I imagine this is probably an ideal gown for either hospital or home deliveries. I wouldn't mind seeing it available in a few more colors.

Very loose, oversize maternity dress perfect for time immediately before, during, or after the hospital stay. This garment is not designed to look beautiful, but is more about function and comfort, and checks that box firmly. There's even pockets! Pockets!

So, I am not going to be TOO extremely picky about a labor and delivery gown...I am pretty sure that in the moment of use, I will not be too worried about aesthetics, LOL. But all in all, I think this gown meets all of the most important criteria, and I like that it comes in some neutral, solid colors. I have seen a lot of floral prints, and other designs and colors that I personally don't find appealing, so I appreciated the simplicity of this one. It actually reminds me quite a bit of the Kindred Bravely gown that I had also looked at, except that this one comes at a better price. The design is exactly what you need for a labor & delivery gown, where any body part that you might need to have accessible, will be easily accessible. I ordered a Medium, which is usually my size in shirts and dresses, and it fits very nicely, so it seems true to size for me. It IS a loose fit, so I think I probably might have even been able to get away with a Small, but I don't see any need to change the size. I am totally satisfied and happy to have this packed away in my hospital bag, ready for the big day!
