My mother is a dog groomer of over 20 years and she recommended this brush for my chow chow mix and lord I thought the hair would never stop! But I was just using the wrong type of blade for her coat. The shedding is under control now! I should have ask for advice much sooner. I brushed her outside and it was “snowing”. The brush is a little big but I bought the large so it’s heavy but I’ll learn. It is comfortable to hold and my dog loved it. So win win for the both of us

Holy cow, what amazing results! I don’t use the large teeth very much because my dog is a little sensitive. Just got the brush today and went to town on brushing: we filled up an entire brown grocery bag full of hair! It was kind of a zen moment for me to be getting all that old hair off of her, and after a few passes of the brush my dog also relaxed and let me brush her out for a good long while before she got tired of me and I couldn’t find any more shedding spots. I seriously can’t believe how well this thing works. We’ve had another similar brush before but it didn’t do half as good of a job as this set! If you have a German shepherd, buy this brush!

I didn’t know it would be this size. More suitable for a large dog like husky. It’s almost the same size as my kitten… I will need to buy a much smaller brush for her. I’m sure this is a good quality brush but we cannot use it for our kitten 😅

We have two gsd’s, one standard coat and one short(ish) hair with an insanely thick undercoat. The undercoat claws on this brush are a straight game changer. I can’t believe i went this long without it. They’re well rounded so safe to the touch, won’t hurt. But man does it remove the hard to get stuff! The furminator style brush leaves a lot to be desired. Teeth aren’t long enough and it gets clogged up super easily. I ended up using the actual furminator after the undercoat brush. But the undercoat brush alone makes this brush worth it.
