This is the new design series 37 distributor. In order to replace the optical module, you have to remove the complete distributor assembly from the engine, remove the roll pin and gear, and then the distributor shaft assembly. Re-assemble distributor, install, and re-check timing.The old design allowed you to just remove the cap, rotor, then change module.

This is the second unililite I has owned. Amazon had the best price around and as always quick delivery.The first one I had was used in a big block 70' nova running 12.8 et's at altitude. This one is going in a 72'Nova SS with a nasty 502. Great performance distributor for the smart shopper!
