I needed something to protect my 4K collection and no one seemed to offer anything except steelbook protection. I took a chance on these cases and they work perfectly! I was even able to use them for some of my rare Blu-rays without too much wiggle room. And they take into account any slipcovers you might have. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

These are fantastic for protecting your Blu-ray slipcovers.. they are a very firm plastic. You can stack them on top of each other and they don't even bend.. I wish they came with more than 10 at a time. However I have no complaints. Overall the product is fantastic.

I have been using these for my Blu-rays and 4Ks espcially with the ones with the slipcovers since last year and have bought packs of them every time have runned out. They are really the best protection for your 4K Blu-ray and regular Blu-ray collection. They fit just perfectly for the ones in my collection as well.

These are a very tight fit on any Arrow Slipcover release and probably shouldn’t be used. The folding tabs are too tight and you probably run more of a risk inserting those into these protectors than you would leaving them on a shelf. That said, these work great for almost any other Slipcover release. I re-purposed my order and dropped my Kino Lorber discs into these cases.

The covers are great for protecting your blurays but be careful when assembling as they can crack easily.

Short version: Too tight to fit most blu-ray/4K cases with slipcovers without potentially causing minor damage to the slipcover. Fits case *without* slipcovers a treat (but that's probably not what you're buying 'em for). These are great if you never actually watch your collection and just like to show off your movies as a museum piece.Long version:Honestly baffled by the 4 star reviews. Great concept in theory, but these cases are far too snug for almost any blu-ray/4k case *with* slipcover. Don't even attempt to put a Vinegar Syndrome or the thicker, 2nd gen Severin slipcovers inside, as it will potentially scuff the slip & embossing . Glossy slips will be fine with these (i.e. Total Recall and other Lions Gate & Vestron 4k/blus), but even some 'ordinary' blus/4Ks from Universal (I tried Parasite & Last Night in Soho) and Warner Brothers (Wolf of Snow Hollow was the first one I tried. Bettlejuice 4K fit a bit better, but that's a glossy slip. No way was I going to try The Goonies 4K!) were a touch too large for these protectors. Scream/Shout Factory cases & slips fit ok--- but.... The mere act of opening the top or bottom tabs with a case/slip inside requires care, since the tabs tend to clip in flush with the rest of the case. Easy accessibility is right out of the window with these. You'll have to work it open with a fingernail or small, flat tool. The folding flaps at the top and bottom often stay too rigid, or fold too far in. You may have to fight with said flaps putting the case back into the slipcover inside. Woe be unto you if one of those flaps finds itself between the inside of the slipcover and the outside of the blu-ray case as you place case back into slipcover-- you could damage the paper insert and plastic insert cover of the case itself while returning the case to the slipcover and its (ahem...) "protector". Then you still have to fold the dang flap back in to close the protector, and the rigid plastic can be unforgiving to that tender slipcover. There's so little room to fold the flap between slip and the alleged protector that it becomes a precision task. All this is if you're careful, mind you! You could cut the top or bottom flap off for accessibility, sure. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the protector in the first place? Isn't this too much work to put in for something that has one job?These cases certainly will protect *some* cases with slipcovers (if they fit!). If you want to archive your collection, sit it on a shelf and merely admire it from afar without touching -- much less watching -- the movies inside, these will do the trick. If you want to take the movies off the shelf and watch 'em? Eh, maybe bump up to the Steelbook-sized protectors, but it looks like the same caveats apply with the tabs/flaps conundrum. I'm returning these and taking a cue from my vinyl collection by seeking out polybags with flaps. It's really all you need to protect slips from normal shelf-wear and handling unless you're unforgiving with your collection (and if you are, you wouldn't be looking here, right?).

Was looking forward to these, but the design is bad. It did damage to one of my Shout factory movie slipcovers more than once trying to close it. They're also not easy to open. If the plastic wasn't so rigid or tight around the movies it would be better. Definitely appreciate my thin plastic sleeves more now. Will return these. Glad I didnt try these on one of my more expensive movies first. Be careful using these. I can't fully get these on without causing damage. If you're a picky collector and truly want to "protect" your investment, I'd personally avoid these.

Honestly they look really nice, I only got 10 to try them and see the quality, and for the price I’m pretty impressed! They’re a nice Acrylic and a nice shine to the covers! They’re a little hard to get the blu-rays in a first especially if you have rare movies you’re trying to carefully squeeze in, so just be careful when initially putting them in! After it’s done they look great in there! I highly recommend these. They won’t fit steel books, but standard blu-rays look awesome!One issue I do have is the bottoms don’t sit flat, so if I’m trying to face my movies they’ll just fall forward because the bottoms are kinda rounded. I don’t really think there’s a way to fix that unfortunately.

I really like these, however the double locking tab is horrible to undo and the plastic is fairly rigid.Malko's steelbook protectors do work nice for people looking to protect steelbooks and larger slipcover movies (eg. Vinegar Syndrome), but are slightly too small for Blue Underground, Grindhouse Releasing and obviously bigger Arrow releases.Their 4k UHD PS3 cases are the ones you want for standard slipcover blu ray cases. Really don't think these would fit PS3 cases or PS4, but the steelbook ones would.Overall, these are the cheapest I've seen in Canada for 10, but if you want to spend a bit extra you can directly order much better quality covers on Vinegar Syndromes site. The plastic is more fixable, less rigid, more spacious (both width and height), and a million times easier to open up.I still highly recommend these from Malko, particularly for the standard blu ray slipcover cases, as they fit just right.

I should have read the other reviews before i purchased as I needed them for steelbooks and they're far too tight for that.However they do fit my Criterion Blurays perfectly so i'm still happy. Well made product.

These Malko protectors are great for collectors looking to keep their slipcovers in pristine condition without being bulky or sacrificing a uniform look on your shelf. I bought these specifically for my Vinegar Syndrome, Arrow Video, and Scream Factory slipcovers and they are a perfect fit. The Arrow Video releases with the slips run a bit thicker (PS3 style case) but they will still fit with some patience. These protectors WILL NOT fit the Arrow LE sets nor the Vinegar Syndrome Archive releases.They come flat with a protective shrink wrap, all you have to do is peel the film, and fold to shape. I will definitely be ordering these as needed and I highly recommend them to any of the collectors out there that worry about shelf wear and tear. Thank you for a great product Malko!
