Light but powerful. Says 2" cut but cutting 2 inch conduit is tricky. Goes through strut like butter though

I’m a solar installer. We cut 3/4 Au conduit and rail regularly - this thing is awesome for that. Love how lightweight and small it is. I think you can cut up to 2’ with it

Well balanced, light in weight for how well it works, with sharp makita brand blades this thing cuts anything smaller than 2" super reliably.

I am an electrician and I needed this for work to cut conduit and strut. This thing is a beast! I had considered switching to Milwaukee but decided to stay with Makita since I already have a drill and impact from them (so I already have batteries and a charger). Boy am I glad! My favorite part is the fact that this tool is made in Japan vs China like some other red tools… Even my coworkers who saw it and borrowed it briefly said that it works a lot better than their red bandsaws. I am very happy with this thing! It arrived on time just like the shipping estimate said it would. 2 thumbs up!

This thing is so bad a$$. I love it!!! Cuts through 1" emt like butter. Clean cuts, very light, and the clip handle works great on my cart. Just be aware of what blades it takes and order ahead of time.

I'm an electrician and a big makita fan. Love how small and compact the tool is. I run the band saw with a 2 amp batter on it all day. I use it to cut pvc and emt conduits. Only had the band saw for about a week now and the blade broke. Having a lot trouble trying to find 28 3/4" blades. Can't find them anywhere, a lot of places don't carry it and if I find one that does carry. They are sold out, guess that means other people are having the same problem as me. Now I have a tool that I can not use for a couple of weeks.

I am a professional electrical contractor. This is my new favorite tool. This thing cuts FAST, clean, and cool. Hardly any de-burring. Makes my work look even more clean. Easy to use one-handed. Blades aren't widely available yet, but I found them for a reasonable price online from a certain depot. It's a shame that it can't cut 2" conduit, but I'll accept that if that's how to make it so compact.
