What an excellent jigsaw. Great value! Shipping was fast and always amazing. Makita means quality. Has a fantastic case to protect the tool. Only people that work in the trades can host a conversation with friends and colleagues about how much they appreciate their tools. I appreciate Makita.

This saw cuts very nicely and is a very comfortable saw to use which is important as one cuts various curves. A very good balance between weight and balance.

厚めの板は歯のばらつきで正確にカットするのは困難ですが気軽にdiy出来て便利です。切断面の調整は不可欠ですが重宝してます。

Let me just say I own a Bosch jig saw, I’ve had it almost 10 yrs, I wanted to buy one for my son as a birthday gift but that particular model is hard to find. I jumped onto google and started researching jig saws, obviously I’ve had no need to do so, because I’ve been thrilled with mine. I wanted my son to have an equally great tool that will last hopefully a life time. After a few days of searching I concluded that the Makita JV0600K is a great tool, not a starter saw or entry level tool, its well made and worth every cent. If your looking for cheap, you’ll get cheap. From small projects to Job sites... you will be glad you bought it.( PS. He loved it)

The tool worked well for my job of cutting plastic. I also ordered some Bosch blades suitable for plastic. The tool did come with one Makita blade which seemed fine. I'll likely use it on a future project. Tool is pretty much ready to use out of the box. Instruction manual is good. Blades are easy to install and change. Price on Amazon was cheaper than HD/Lowes. I'm satisfied with my purchase.I haven't used it much, so can't comment on durability. Will update this review if I run into any issues.

Bought this model to replace my old Bosch 1587. It does have excellent balance, very little vibration, and the blade change mechanism works quite well. As a trim carpenter, I use jigsaws primarily for coping molding. I found that the blade easily comes off track and the base opening is a little large and allows the molding to come through and get hung up. The dial for the orbital settings isn’t very smooth and I can see it becoming a problem down the road. I would highly recommend for general use but unfortunately doesn’t work for my needs.

I've had this only a short time. Saws heavy gauge sheet steel and wood equally well. High quality tool with blade oscillation adjustment for different materials. Little to no vibration with proper speed setting. Only wish it had a light like the model that costs about $60 more. Cheap me. Still this model has a bit more power and wider speed settings that that one. I'm very happy with it and find it is little trouble to put on a headlight when using this cutting beast. It replaces a 40 year old worn out craftsman saw. I hope my heirs learn how long this one lasts. The well made heavy duty case will most likely help it last. I do not like to buy power tools without a good case.

This is a very fine saw. Design is simple and functional, and the build is robust and precise. The hand grip is good, the blade-changing mechanism is easy to operate, and the base slides nicely on the work surface. The saw's vibration is minimal (perhaps a notch above a power drill), which makes precise work much easier.I have so far used this saw in a project involving precise cuts in a 1-inch solid oak board, and I am very pleased with both its precision and power.Following up on questions about blade compatibility, I can confirm that this saw accepts the commonly available T blades; their shank is identical to what Makita calls a B blade, and it locks into the saw's blade holder as firmly and precisely as the original Makita B blade.
